This is one area where 3rd party can't beat the official line because the later will just use their Tampo Tech so solve the problem.

There really needs to be a 3P tampoing service in the US. That's actually one idea that a retailer can make some good money i.e. tampoing a figure before sending it out to customers.

Yeah I’ll just put a water slide over the cracks and use the Mr Mark Softer to smooth it over the cracks. I probably won’t transform him anyway.

 

But how much of his back will have to be untabbed to achieve this is the big question.

 

What I really miss is laughing faces. Brawn should be able to laugh. Even Astrotrain should have a laughing face.

Even Gears should factually have a laughing face to homage that one episode where he did.

Last shipment I got from them took 9 days so we’ll have to wait till they actually get it in stock as I still haven’t gotten a shipping notification.

 

TF Direct told me they would be sending out invoices for pre-orders soon. I'm really looking forward to adding this figure to my Decepticon MP's.

 

Agreed, all bots should come with 4 facial expressions: Stoic, angry, laughing, smiling, and you can even toss in a fifth, nervous/worried/sad. We may not get the best articulation with Fans Toys, but we can at least get what they are absolutely brilliant at, face sculpts.

As long as I get a "stoic" face, I could pass on the rest. I know some characters have specific personalities that may make sense to have some other expression but no 3rd party has nailed it to date imo and I wouldn't use the alt expressions even if they did. The only set of faces I like are MP-36. Ive passed on figures just because they have some wacky facial expression and no normal face. Just me. To each their own.

 

I like TE-03's laughing face.
