Watch Blurr be both. Just because it was the one I was looking forward to the most.

Also, I don't think the new Hot Rod could not have been done any other way than faking it. That was just the direction they clearly decided to take from the start. If they had decided to actually try and do the figure using the chest as the hood, and engineer around that, they could have made just as fantastic a figure. Especially knowing they were going to be utilizing the voyager price point to make him.

One of the reasons I'm glad to see the images of this guy--some good news for me. Him and Cyclonus will definitely be mine.

I fixed mine by gluing the port in place from the inside, no more wobble. As for why I like it over other offerings, it's kinda nice that there's an optional alternative face (via the takara exclusive sweep titan master what came packaged with their sharkticon) to use for differentiating scourge from his sweeps.

That all being said, new hotness looks nice enough. Will I drop $90 to grab three? Only time and wallet will tell.

Holy god dang. I bought the X-Transbots Scourge from BBTS on Friday, and now this version in the scale I really want gets leaked. This just keeps happening to me.

I love the way they did the wings. I already have a Scourge, but I'd be down for whatever they repaint this as.

Guess Hasbro just knows when to double down with this. Which kinda makes me wonder with all these G1 molds, it would be some sort of sign.

See thats the thing. I dont care about the proportions of a toy looking hand drawn or exaggerated. Its like putting John Cena in a padded muscle suit to make him look like a cartoon drawing of He-Man. Im fine with the chest being a little more boxy because thats how I would envision it world look in real life. I never considered Sunbow cartoons to be adhered to literally when it comes to proportions. A drawing doesnt need to transform.

Looks really nice! As I told this Pharma-duck guy, a picture is worth a thousand words. We can make far better guesses on transformation and poseability from a photo than descriptions, no matter how detailed.
Looks like the bat wings are part of the \"steam iron\" ship mode\'s bottom, likely, and close over the robot body. Seems the chest and head can flip up and pop out in jet mode, like in the cartoon when he often did the silly thing with his head popping out to talk while flying. Odd that the hand is open. Guess this means the gun is affixed to it by a peg in the handle.

Maybe it's a sign that when Hasbro is releasing every G1 character ever made - and has been since CW - it's not worth to invest into unlicensed properties?

Whelp...the days are numbered for the generations scourge mold in my collection. I resisted upgrading those odd airships chug to TR mold for all those sweeps, but has/tak was determined to get more of my money than they already do with this 86 studio series line. Just go ahead take my money, and count me in for like 3-6 of these guys. My wallet is waving the white flag...cue the gifs:

Now that's a nice looking Scourge.

With the Cyclonus leak from earlier, can't wait for the inevitable Galvatron.

Exactly. That's why I really, really don't think MP44's extreme cartoon model sheet adherence works at all in 3D.

Looks neat. Makes me hopeful that we'll eventually get more of these. And more Studio Series in general.

Wait, have we seen any more images of Cyclonus (other than the early, mistransformed photos)?
