Man congrats. I was quite honestly on that site about 30 minutes before you posted this, but I dozed off. You get a confirmation and everything?

    About articulation ...

It's a good thing that companies follow their own path, QC issues put aside. If you're mad about articulation, go Takara, it's surely one of their best asset.

But some may think that too much articulation can break the sculpt, or alter it. Fanstoys's moto is probably this one.
People pointed out Dunerunner didn't have a butterfly joint. OK, but that would have ended up with a less cohesive bot, and this is what I really liked about it.

    To each their own ..

Everyone, this isn't the place to discuss a reviewer. Their reviews, fine, but not the reviewer. Lets keep it about FT-44.

That's a good point. Especially butterfly joints have a tendency to break up the sculpt.

But well somewhere in between MP Sunstreaker and FT Goose would suffice for me.

Roadking has a trailer attached to his back and his articulation is great.

Well that's the thing with FT right, occasionally you wonder why the articulation on a certain figure can't be better. Like take their Dunerider. There's no reason whatsoever that it can't have double jointed elbows. Same with Brawn.

That's the no 1 problem with FT i.e. artificial articulation limitations. Not artificial supply shortage. That's just some people's crazy theory. Bill Burr the comedian said it best when he made a comment on people going crazy on Black Friday: "why can't you just admit it that you can't afford those things at regular prices?"

The thing that kills me about Brawn is that he can't look up. Grrrr. I can deal with the elbows, but I want him screaming up at a Decepticon!

It'd be both sad and funny if my homemade KO Thomas figure is better articulated than the actual Thomas.

For me it's the single piece hip skirts on Beachcomber, Blur, Hotrod and Warpath that cause the most irksome of niggles. But absolutely, no "head tilt up" on a minibot seems like something that shouldn't be taken for granted...

FT do have a tendency towards inconsistent articulation points I think.

Looking at the images on the thread front I think I can make out at least "one click" of wait swivel on Astrotrain here... tell me if I'm seeing things.

    Nice.

I really think FT needs to nail this figure

only just noticed we are not going to be able to put decepticon logo's in the same place as the cartoon because of the split wings unless the logo is split but i think that will look odd

"edit" not even going to be able to split one in half because it's not a straight split on the wings

You know things are getting tired and desperate on the new pics hunt when you google FT THOMAS and wind up with an image of Fort Thomas, Kentucky. o_O

i might just put a whole logo over it and just leave it doubt i will transform it anyway and if i put a waterslide on it will be easy to take off if i decide to sell it one day ( hopefully )

The cartoon is just so inconsistent. If you look at the robot mode, there's no seams on the wings. Then you look at the shuttle mode and there's seams all over the place :)
