Well not only is King Exkaiser getting a Converge, but it seems like they're doing Mini Pla Power Dagwon and Fire En?
I'd love it, I wonder who they'd do next. Despite the hardcore fans it really seems the non GGG toys don't sell well enough for Bandai.. If they continue with GGG, I'd like Choryujin. I know it's the super obvious choice and he always comes after Gaogaigar, but it would be cool to see what Chogokin engineering can accomplish with him. If they don't do GGG then it would have to be another lead robot, King Exkaiser and Might Gaine seem popular choices
I don't really want more expensive, tetchy display pieces. I want actual toys, my greatest wish for Brave is a generations style line that remakes them to a decent standard but as playable toys at a reasonable price and with a good release frequency.
Why are the translucent parts blue this time around? I sort of like the look of the translucent stand compared to the original, but I don't really trust that much weight being supported on translucent plastic pieces.
As long as we’re just throwing random stuff out there of what we would like to happen- just let Young Toys take a crack at the brand. They’re basically already doing it unofficially.
Super Brave Exibition Vol. 2 featuring Norihiro Hayasaka (Hayabaan) It was an entretaining interview. Loved that he showed stuff that I've never seen before, like Gunber's back in color
Is that a new, painted faceplate? I know the original was unpainted white and looked kinda not great, so it’s pleasant to see that fixed.
I don't think it's painted. It almost looks like the faceplate is made of multiple parts and the "teeth" are not flush so it's giving off natural shading.
This week's Super Brave Exibition Vol. 3 features Norihiro Hayasaka (Hayabaan) again Apparently they were planning on pulling a fast one on the fandom on this year April Fools, but apparently they decided to not do it because of the covid and stuff. They did mention something about crowd funding an OVA or something (sorry because of my limited knowledge of Japanese) but I think they were (partially) joking
Crowdsourcing an OVA is a great idea tbh, its based on a established series which helps, since even original property OVAs have been crowdfunded before Also I thought I was being gaslit for a second, the April Fool Brave has 20th anniversary on his wing, but I know this year was the thirtieth anniversary!
That's because that was actually the logo used in the 20th Anniversary, but it was only used for the OST CDs that came out back then, so what they did was reused that design and give it an Anime polish. And btw, the other day I decided to take on the rough sketch of Flash Kaiser and Magna Bomber found in some Brave books and gave it a go at cleaning it a bit and coloring them. I used this video as a guide on where to add the colors
