that's a really cool that it seems almost like it was built to display botbots...

looks like about 36 can fit on one shelf, so this year's entire collection should fill half the cabinet!

 

That's a really nice setup. That'd work well for me for both BotBots and minicons.

 

I don’t own many Minicons, just the Classics and Cybertron/Energon ones, and a few Armada. But as I own every G1 Micromaster, this would be a good display for them as well! 8)

Depends on the width, some like Bottocorrect or Sardank take up more space, while the baseball bats only half as much. So far I put in all the series 1, 2 teams, the SDCC exclusives, Lawn League and Bakery Bytes, and the Arcade Renegades. That left about 2 and a half shelves free. Hopefully I can fit all the Series 3 teams in there too. I think only Seasons Greeters and Fresh Squeezes continued to Series 4.
I was looking for a new cupboard to hold my TV when I saw this display cabinet, and I came back the next time with sone botbots in my packet to try them in!  

 

I haven't seen any wave 5 in Target since early this year, but I just found some 8-packs. Hit three other Targets though and they still only had older stuff.

 

Still only Waves 3/4 here. I have some Wave 5 3-packs to trade for Cardio Clique...

Yeah, but it turns out to be a Series 5 pack--they mis-entered the description and seem to have no intention of ever fixing it.

 

I found Quackles a sweet new ride making him the fastest Botbot on land and sink sea.

 

That is just perfect for him.  
Hmm, I need to try if I can have Lego Batman Penguin stand on him in rubber ducky mode.

All my Targets seem to be stocking lately are Series 4 eight-packs and singles. I haven't seen anything Series 5 in a long time.

 

Still 3 and 4 here, all of it pegwarming.

 

Extremely likely at this point, but still not 100%. It's now nearly 2 full months since the Series was officially supposed to come out, and no stores have even put up listings/preorders. Hasbro hasn't said anything, but then again with Botbots they rarely have this year.

I would say if another month goes by and we're full-blown into stores stocking for the holiday season and we still haven't heard anything definitely count this line over.

Dude, the Wave 2 of Earthrise got delayed by what, half a year? We had Wave 1 in March-April and Wave 2 are only appearing now in September-October. In some places.
COVID delayed shipping from China/Vietnam as well as production for Hasbro and other companies. I mean we have not heard any Studio Series news in ages apart from the leaked toys, either. Botbots is just really under the radar, I bet samples exist already for Series 6 but simply, the leakers do not care as much. I mean remember how some news like the art for the pet store themed set on Amazon, did not even get frontpaged. Botbots is a marginal thing for most TF fans or something they don't even care about, that is why it is hard to find anything online about them. Just because we have not seen news I would not assume Series 6 is not happening. 2020 has simply been a troublesome year for toy distribution, and even toy news are negatively impacted. HasbropulseCon only had WFC news for example. No Studio Series, no Cyberverse, Masterpiece, no Botbots. If SDCC happened as scheduled, I bet we have at least would have seen some displays.
I mean, we have seen pics of Skullcruncher and Iaconus but they were also not advertised by Hasbro or listed anywhere, as far as I can tell. I am not assuming they won't happen and are cancelled for now just because there are no news. The same goes for Series 6 - we have seen loose Botbots in 2020 February on Toyfair and even packaged surprise boxes, so we have more to go on than for example the second Deluxe wave of Cyberverse, of which we only seen listings.

You do know there are numbers on the back of the blindbags that tell you what Botbot they contain? Check the TF Wiki for codes.
Interspar discounted Series 2 Blindbags (nothing on Series 3 anywhere, btw, I got lucky buying the whole box in Müller when it appeared) to 910 HUF, I managed to get my friend 4 that he was still missing, including Javasaurus Rex.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'd love you to be right, but this is where I think Botbots differs from other TF toyline COVID delays in this respect:
-No store preorders, even on unofficial places like Toywiz. For Earthrise Wave 2 we've had preorders forever, they've just kept being delayed.
-Stores seem not to be moving these, in the few places that actually have them. The demand doesn't seem to be there, unlike for most of the other TF lines.
-No official Hasbro product listings. Even for stuff they don't advertise at all, it'll still show up in the product catalog-- Skullcruncher and Iaconus are in the catalog on their US site right now, and Skullcruncher isn't out yet.
-The new ball packs for Series 6 are their own assortment; they don't depend on the existing Botbots selling out in stores, they're essentially "Wave 1" of something new as far as toy stockers are concerned. Yet, still, nothing, not even store listings to my knowledge. We've got that mis-labeled Series 5 8-pack on Target.com as the "Caffeine Collective" and that's it.
