Any and everything non-sunbow G1. It's simple because if there is anything else made then by default there is less Sunbow G1 which is all I care about!

I am tired of seing Arcees.   Every 3.party company has its own different Arcee designs. Toyworld, zeta, mmc, occular max, fantoys, ms toys ,Firebird and Takara generations, siege and now upcoming Mp version. There are another female transformers in the universe please no more Arcees.  

 

I considered listing her too, but felt a bit hypocritical, since I have Nicee on the way and still want the Fanstoys and Iron Factory versions

 

YeH its one of the reasons I dont really want 3p to touch energon. The designs are just so flawed, that in order to be fixed, itd arguably had to be redesigned in a lot of ways. And then it goes from mp to stylized. With animation characters, or designs that genuinely look good its easier to do stuff like that for examp that cybertron optimus. Energon hotshot just seems genuinely hard to see looking good, especially since he turns into legs and arms. Would you abandon the gimmick? Would you reinvent it? Would fans be upset that you changed it?(probably not, but something to think about) and yeah, I would never buy a 3p design for it, when I would prefer almost anything else as a 3p design

 

Yeah they are Wierdly specific interest things perhaps. I think what with how Siege gets multiple scales of the same Optimus Prime - it does make me a little sad that something like that didn't or doesn't exist for energon - but other than me - I have to wonder who'd really want that.

I guess the idea has one merit though which is if such a thing did exist say taking Deluxe Rodimus and turning him into a Voyager or taking Voyager Ironhide & turning him into a Deluxe - that would "get around" the IP issues as changing something's size or colour seems to be enough to keep the police raids away - but it has the added advantage of adding play value to the original toys too - which is why it's something i've always wanted.

But I do realise I am one of a few people who likes the Energon Autobots for what they do and isn't excessively bothered with how they suffer a little in articulation. I've done my best to buy 2 everything (or at least both japanese and western versions) so I can combine two of the same character and treat it as a power up body too. so if someone did say make Voyager Rodimus as a Deluxe - i'd likely buy two of those too. I can see what that would be a firm no for some people though. I wouldn't have any special need for the Decepticons to be upscalled or 3d party enhanced so much - unless someone really wants a 3rd party Snowcat & Demolishor I guess.

I think 3rd party Armada will happen eventually though, it seems more likely than say RID/car Robots 3rd party going much further than Optimus.

I did bring up Beast Machines 3rd party as a idea not long ago and got a reaction of appauled horror.. even if a nice BM Silverbolt or some ATV vehicons wouldn't personally offend me I think as 3rd party toys.

Well first, the armada is already starting with fanshobby planning to do optimus and all his power ups, and fanshobby megatron.

I get the idea of ko repaints of energon, but I don't think enough people will buy it considering the limitations of articulation. But I do like that power up idea.

I think 3p energon could be a thing, but hasbro would have to redo the toys first.by creating new designs for energon in a chug line, there would be more space for 3p to redo the toys, and make it better

 

Well everyone does a favorite toy, or what you want made, or toy you hate, but never, the toy you don't want made. So I decided to make something unique

 

Alright in that case, I think we can cool it with Takara redoing so many characters before we get first versions of characters such as the dinobots, insecticons, Galvatron. There's zero reason why none of those characters are not done. They do not need a license like the carbots do.

I agree that we don’t need another G1 (or whatever era Bruticus is being done to death) Bruticus, but I would love a Fall of Cybertron version of Bruticus.

 

I don't see why we should decide what gets produced or not. What matters is what we choose to buy, which will always be completely subjective.

It’s just a conversation thread, no company is ever going to actually look at this thread to determine what they shouldn’t produce. They only produce what they think makes money (so if people are buying every Bruticus that releases, then by god they are going to keep making Bruticus until the end of time).
