@Zyros I genuinely love the head you designed here more than the 'official' G1 head Firebird originally showed off.

I love it, it’s awesome. I like the general outline of the visor; I imagine you’re going to make it more dimensional, and if so the shape is great— she looks like a badass!

Going to be honest, I like them both extremely well! The mask option reminds me of 2B a bit. I'd definitely grab those if they were made.

    Yeah, they both look great.
It's recognizably Arcee but still stylized to fit the Nicee body.
As someone else mentioned, I like the visor shape but simply needs more dimension so it doesn't look like a mask. If the crest is made removeable like the one for the default head, you could have the visor built into an alternate crest you can swap out, with the visor extending down in front of the eyes.

Is there an official thread for Nicee?? Still locked?
I just want to say, I got her yesterday here in Japan, and she's amazing, definitely doesn't feel amateurish at all, for a company where this is supposedly their first crack at 3P TF, it feels about the same quality as any Sentinel or Bandai Metal Build. That said, it shares some problems with both of those brands, in that it's fully painted, and there's some thin spiky bits that you'll have to be very careful with transforming. Her shoulders are also pretty tight, and make that squeeking noise, so I'm kind of thinking maybe I should have bought 2, just to have an extra on hand. I would definitely pick up any reissues or alternate colors that come out thought, hope BFB decides to go wild on that end, also definitely hope they make more characters, they're clearly really good at this.

Eyes seem a bit on the evil side with the outer corners being very sharp and no brow between the eyes and the helmet. Suggestion would be to add a very slight break between the eyes and helmet and either a slight roundness or drop point to the outer corners of the eye. Eyes and eye shape are the focal.point of any character design. I do this all day for work.

Visor has a similar evil feel (not as evil as the eye shape) with the angled lower leading edge. Suggest less of an angle but not straight across.

I'd break out shotoflop but I'm away from my pc this weekend.

Ultimately, do what you like best. :)

That looks great! I was planning on doing a headsculpt but I'll bow out - yours is great and there's no need to duplicate your work (and I probably wouldn't do as good a job anyway).

I love the outline of the visor. I'd concur with the suggestion about making it more dimensional like sunglasses but that outline is perfect.

Might want to remove the image to keep the thread open to discussions:)  Mod's been lenient with the thread existing on a no pic rule, except for the few face/alt mode pix.

PSA... Please don't post images of the figure, or even links to them. You'll get the thread locked. Thanks.

So some people have said the joints on her get loose real fast, can anyone confirm? Might back out if that's the case.

Nah, my Nicee joints are super tight. Literally her right shoulder squeaks when being set for a pose.

Outta the box on my copy her Piston knees, Biceps swivel,Shoulders and neck were squeaky tight. I added a dab of Shock oil and it fixed the problem up. I might've added a little too much on her right shoulder as it's pretty loosey-goosey @ the moment. I will say though I fear her ankles/rockers are gonna get loose overtime and she already has a hard time standing due to her small feet/heels.

Also stop posting pics,we need this thread to stay open.!

Now that the figure is released, lots of people will post pictures. It's not common knowledge to everyone that posting the figure is not allowed, for everyone who hasn't been keeping up with the threads.

Maybe the title can be edited to say, NO PICS ALLOWED

So overall the quality for Nicee is good? I've held off pre-ordering since this is a new company. Hopefully they do another run of her

Overall they're great. I like the earlier version eyes though and I'll echo what others have said about the visor. It needs to be its own layer so it doesn't look like a blindfold.

If I were to draw up a boob cover to go with this head, would you be able to model it?
