It appears to tab in just fine. Maybe I lucked out. About time. I usually have horrible luck with 3p KO. All the tolerances are tight on my copy.

Even with the cab's white top portion all the way to the front/in line with the blue bottom half?

Got mine, haven't even transformed it, stripped apart to paint some silver bits (stacks, stripe).

There was a bit of casting flash, that folded over and covered a spot on the chest, so when they painted it blue, the flash acted like a paint-mask, so I've got a spot of bare metal. Will try to touch it up.

Best $40 ever. Die-cast chest and feet.

So I got a chance to the play the big blue today, overall love it! BPF really put the official Siege UM to shame, lol.
-Apparently the armor between the Siege and BPF are not interchangeable. BPF armor is a smidgen bigger than Siege, see photos.
-All joints are tight on mine, including the ratchet joint, no complaint
-Overall paint app is good on mine. BPF blue armor appears to be more glossier than the Siege especially at the shoulder, chestplate, and feet.
-Die cast metal is on the entire bottom feet and on the armor chest plate. Instead of the chest plate, I wish the red backpack has the die cast metal. Just like the Siege, every time you detach the red plastic backpack from the white spine-like where the bumper slide up and down, it always worry me that tab will break off.
-The weapon accessories, BPF put a gap filler on the 2 black guns and the rocket launcher. Looks really nice! All the weapons appear to be the same size as the original. The silver blaster is the only accessory where you would have to look deeper to tell it apart from the original. BPF silver blaster is more shiner and the gun handle is painted red. Siege silver blaster is mold in red but painted in a darker silver.
-In alt.mode, the front wheel cab doesn't roll as freely as the Siege version. The front of the trailer tab to the top of the cab fine on mine.
-In alt.mode, the length of cab & trailer is slightly longer on BPF than Siege, see photo. BPF cab width and bumper is slightly bigger as well, see photo.
-I found it very easy when putting/tabbing the armor in robot but a little bit more difficult in alt.mode. Not sure if it's the diecast metal of the armor chestplate that cause the imbalance when fiddling the toy.
    -The plastic doesn't feel cheap.
-The no damage battle paint, the improved gap filler, and the leg extension, gives BPF UM a nicer proportion, look and feel more of a premium figure.
-For a $40 figure, this figure fully worth it.

BPF UM is the left and Siege is the right side:

Got the stacks and stripes painted. I'm thinking of painting the "shin-vent" area silver. (inner bot). Thoughts?

(also found that the second-smallest dry-transfer logo just BARELY fits, and looks much better than using the very smallest)

The front wheels seem to be catching on something so they don't roll well with your thumb it may be a molding oddity to the hubs - though they seem ok if you roll him around on a something the wheels can grip on like a bed or table cloth.

Size wise I think he's less upscaled than the OSKO Terrocons were which is in turn less upscalled than the Aoyi mech Sideswipe and Hound are. He's more bulkier than he is taller especially if your original is wearing leg extenders like mine are.

    ---

As for the back tab - what I do is pull the chest forward what the backpack is still attached (what you need to do to get he head out) this leaves the post the backpack is attached to hanging free and then to get the backpack off simply (or indeed on again) just tilt it to the left or tight and when it slants it practically falls off - no risk of stressing anything ever that way.

I was happy to stay with the official Terrorcons but you've sold me on the oversized versions along with that Ultra Magnus.

Definitely need an oversized Astrotrain, Earthrise Seekers and Doubledealer. For €42, I'm happy with my ko of MP Grapple.

Oversized versions of the city bot deluxes sounds very interesting. Nice idea.

Just opened mine. Arrived on Saturday. He looks great. I don't have the Seige version to compare, but everyone's initial impressions apply. Solid, taller (9" to the top of his shoulder stacks), and well built.

So where are you guys ordering this from? My two usual China shops, bababobo and Show-Z, aren't stocking this one for whatever reason. I don't trust much else these days.
