First time poster, getting back into the game after having been out for a while.

I got my OP Leader from ShowZ yesterday and found that it wouldn't transform into truck mode with the installed head. Swapping in the other head worked. I wasn't aware of the neck piece issue, I will take a look at that when I get a chance.

Oh also mine came with the matrix; overall very happy with the figure. The only other masterpiece prime I have is the Hasbro 20th anniversary one.

Interesting it worked with one head and not the other. My guess is his antenna got caught on the first one. Its VERY easy to do. I have a set of antenna in my V2 box that are all crooked because of it.

Also, I would HIGHLY recommend a neck upgrade from @transformer_78. I can't express enough how much of a difference that little upgrade makes in this figure.

Oh, and welcome to the forums and the addiction!

I also have the 25th anniversary edition MP-01. It was my first MP figure. It was an amazing figure at the time, and I still love him, but it is very dated.

TE-01 was my second MP-scale transformer. Now I'm neck deep in them, LOL

Got my TE 4th reissue from showzstore. My 2nd purchase from them, happy customer. Thanks Tydirium hanger you made me a believer!

It has very very minor brush swipes of the light gray paint on the head and leg. Will come off easy. Avoid able with QC.

I'm excited to get mine! Even though I already have one, I'm excited about getting my second copy. Its on US soil, and has moved from LA to St Louis via DHL already. Now I'm waiting for them to hand it to USPS for delivery. Who knows how long that will take. USPS has lost almost every single one of my packages over the last two months. They eventually get delivered, but since the first of August, they've all been delayed. Sometimes a day or two, sometimes a week or two. No explanation, they just randomly arrive or leave a USPS facility and disappear for a while.

All a matter of approach, its a significantly simpler and more elegant transformation than MP-44.

I like to watch this video, then the MP-44 transformation, then laugh. It's a rainy day thing.

Ok so finally checked on my V4 (the internet is down). Says it was processed in NJ on the 16th. Seeing the date, that pretty much confirms my theory that shipments going in to Florida were/are delayed because of Sally.

I love this figure so much. I've been calling it "The last optimus prime you'll ever buy." I know that's more of a personal outlook, but it's pretty true for me at least.

Now i'm just waiting for a KO of MP 49 to be made! I need more good mp decepticons.

I've had my IT since day one and have had no issues of yellowing or mismatched parts ever. So have many others. A small bad batch must have entered into the market earlier.

Biggest takeaway from that for me is that I'm glad most people haven't had issues then. I still wouldn't buy one though personally.

I just got mine today from ShowZ.

It’s impressive in hand. Very solidly built and I actually like the lack of paint since the matte plastic really lends itself to the aesthetic they are going for. I was more skeptical in pics. MP44 has beautiful paint, but unfortunately it has that pesky chipping issue. Surprisingly I actually like the default head. Kind of gives him a more youthful appearance if that makes sense, like an optimus that just got the matrix. Regardless I will have to reserve judgement until I transform him but be may be the my favorite G1 masterpiece Optimus available right now.

I had MP44 and I think it’s an amazing looking figure from most angles, But for me it was undone by the engineering concessions for the voice gimmick and total cost. I may buy it again if they release him without the accessories.

The bottom line is that at this price point any serious collector owes it to themselves to gvie this figure a chance. It’s a whole different experience in hand.

Did you ship to the USA?
Did you pick the free shipping option?
How long was the shipping time?

Just got mine. First TE-01 I ever owned.
Ordered through reputable seller from eBay on August 26th, shipped September 2nd, arrived September 19th. From HK to Los Angeles, CA. $109 with $5 shipping, $124 grand total.

The matrix is there. I did record myself opening the package and checking if the matrix was there just in case I needed to provide proof it wasn't.

A tiny paint chip on the top-right-corner of his right chest window and some sprue marks here and there. Also the right shoulder hinge is looser than the left. Don't want to risk screwing it tighter and stripping plastic.

Overall solid figure and very happy with it. I was late to the 3rd party train and have been waiting for a long time for a fourth release. I'm satisfied with this one, so I don't think I'll be getting a newer version even if they fix the coloring on his waste hinges. Only thing that would make me really consider getting another one would be if they gave it a ab-crunch somehow.

Random fact: I'm done collecting Transformers and sold my entire collection recently. Just needed a solid Optimus and Megatron to put in my display case as a reminder that I used to love these things to death. TE-01 and IT-01 (couldn't grab him in time and had to substitute for THF-03, which is second best) felt like they would be the best to fill those places. Couldn't be happier!

Mine just arrived today from ShowZ (to Ireland).
All intact as far as I can tell, including Matrix.

Took one look at him and decided he needed a new neck, so bought the STL off of transformer_78 and swapped it out along with the replacement head.
I never had MP-44, but he can oversee with my MPs whilst the rest of my Primes have their own shelf...
