His movie scenes seem to show him with shoulders a bit lower like the MPM. I initially though they were too low at first, but it's actually fairly accurate.

Considering it's a huge visual deal breaker for a figure that, let's be real, will spend most of it's time on a shelf to be looked at? Yes.

It's accurate though. This has been discussed several times already. But hey, if you don't like it then that's your opinion.

I don't find the shoulder inaccuracy any worse than Jazz and Barricade. Would've been nice if the outer part of the shoulders could come up more for a stronger silhouette, but the film design there is definitely one of the crumpled bits of metal that don't track 100% to the vehicle parts, so the designers worked with what they had.

Stuff around the neck most definitely ain’t accurate. Don’t remember him walking around with a scrapyard in his shoulders. And the shoulders are only accurate to select pics and when his shoulders are all the way down, like when a person is fully relaxed. I mean you even replied to a post that has A picture Of the shoulders higher up while trying to say they are accurate.

Given how you bash some figures, I expected that to be something you would see as well.

I hope MPM-4 will get an update someday, he has mostly floppy friction joints and tolerance issues...

I honestly feel like this may be the best Autobot MPM to date; this pic does a lot to prove this point!

I was specifically referring to the shoulder placement. And I only bash figures that deserve it :D  No the kibble behind the head is not accurate, but it still looks like a great figure and is by far the best ratchet we've gotten.

This is the best I’ve managed to come up with so far. It’s really limiting because there is really only 1 hinge joint to move them around with

    Excellent review.
I wasn't really that motivated to get him, but now I'm warming up. I just wish he was cheaper...

Looks way better! I'm definitely gonna transform mine like this when I get it. It'd be nice if a 3p could make a replacement for just that part that folds up better, but it looks like everything's pinned back there. Ah well after seeing these pics I'm not too concerned about it anyways. Thanks for the update.

Yep, not only does it make the toy look better, but also places the lights in a more movie accurate position. Pretty sure this is the intended transformation.

Yup, that's a surprising amount of ratchets, did any ofhter MPM include outward movement ratchet in the leg?
