LOVE the visor. The nose could be less organic, but that’s minor. The face-to-helmet ratio is low; I’d make her face much larger in proportion to the overall head. The placement of the forehead crest in relation to the face is really good, and I love how it curves in on the profile view.

Face looks a bit too human, especially the lips and the sides of the nose - she almost has nostrils. Did you start with a 3d model of a human face? Helmet looks good - pretty much spot on to the original, though is it supposed to be so angular through the top or is that area supposed to be more round?

if you need better references. i mean.. i have these. They should easily be able to help you make a better more accurate head. Also. please fix your Visor I'd say go for how it looks in the 86 move at the very least. :thumb  as for her eyes. you don't need to make them beedy looking like in these renders here.

As for your Visor shape? maybe more like this:

    Screenshot_1.png

    head 1.jpg head 2.jpg head 3.jpg head 4.jpg

as for the head the chinese fan is working on. these all all I've seen in terms of proof it's being worked on.

(I don't want to share too many other NICEE images from here on because I don't want to see the thread get locked)

Got my figure today this afternoon. Overall, I'm pretty impressed by it. I don't like collecting 3rd party figure because I'm afraid of breaking parts but Nicee feels solid. Just have to take some caution when handling it.

I would love to write an objective review but I'm not sure if this site will allow it after witnessing the teaser thread being frozen.

I think I can correctly advise you that a objective review of the figure on its merits without any commentary on certain aspects will be welcomed here

I actually feel bad for showz. I hope they can break away from this. I don’t order from them normally. But I still check their thread. I knew this Pitney Bowes was bad, but this is madness.

Show z needs to do like a amazon prime thing for shipping, or charge more for shipping. Because this is insanity.

“--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:p BI), a global technology company that provides commerce solutions in the areas of ecommerce, shipping, mailing and financial services, today marks 100 years of delivering innovative products and solutions to drive commerce.Apr 23, 2020”

What cutting edge shipping AI is over seeing this?

I want to thank people for the feedback. For the helmet, I overlayed it on an image of the old design and it lines up exactly. I don't know if maybe my program is making the perspective seem a bit off. Here's where I'm at with the helmet specifically:

I'm tweaking around the face size. Here's where I'm at right now if people can give me some feedback. I noticed the back of the original head sculpt is a little different from what I have. I'll address it later on.|

On a related note, if people don't want these updates I do apologize. I'll move it over to Radicons if people think it's appropriate. I figured posting here would be fine since a lot of us seem to want an Arcee head.

Please keep providing updates. I really hope you plan to sell painted copies of both the standard and binoculars head because I would definitely purchase both.

It will be entirely dependent on how well I manage to paint match. Printed or digital copies shouldn't be a problem either way.

as I said, Paint is kind of my profession, so I am down to sort the color match out.

When you are right, you are right! The helmet is perfect. I think I see what the problem may be: it’s the eyes. The position is a little close to the nose, and they are a little round. If you pull them out, away from the nose, I think it will give the impression that her face and head is larger inside the helmet. I am on a mobile device, but let me screw around with mark-up and see if I can get across what I am trying to say a little better.

Super-crude, and I don’t mean to overstep; maybe something like this? I moved the eye, removed the rounded nostril, lowered the jowl, and fussed with the mouth a little bit..

Not at all overstepping. I want us to ideally all be happy with how this ends up.

If that's the case, I'll try my best to get a review posted soon. But not sure if I should post on this thread or as a separate post.

    Just my observtions:

Your helmet is great. Your face and position of it is fine.
Just need to scale it up by 10% (lock your pivot position at the chin so that stays where it is)

Here's a quick photo shop after the upsize:

This is looking much better. I really Hope I was able to help. It looks like I did help when posting those images for ya. Def keep that face. it's PERFECT! the helmet does look improved. thanks for doing this.

Consider me at the very top once you get a fully ready prepared ready to sell Head done. As for the Visor gimmick, Another idea could be to make it in the shape of her helmet Brow there. It would actually be the perfect shape.

that’s really nice, I like how the line from the chin, along the jawline, continues all the way to the ear cup. The way I had it made the head look almost pointy; this face shape, just scaled up like you have done, creates a nice rounded effect to her whole head

Wow nice to see there are people making new heads for Nicee.

Any chance someone/company could make a new chest that resembles the G1 car hood?

I'd be totally down with getting this figure then if chest wasn't just...boobs.

I think the chest poses a bit of problem as the pink underboob part doesn't look easily removable, if at all. While you could fashion something to replace white cleavage part, since that just slides out but you're still stuck with the bottom half, unless you make a chest insert that covers the entire front torso but then it would look way too bulky and out of proportion to the rest of her.

Thanks to all work shopping these alternate heads. One of the best parts of the fandom is when folks step up DIY style to bring a release home.

So yes, please keep going, I would buy one of these and would like to see developments consolidated in this thread.

I'd be fine with replacing that whole bra section, as it's not the first time I've used replacement kits.

Although if there was just a replacement that slots in the pink part of torso while also covering maybe the middle of the "bra" that'd be acceptable as well, depending on the execution.
