Is it going to be like a clamshell deal that fans out a bunch of panels into much bigger Teletran-1/Autobot\'s Living Room?  I think I\'d be more into something like that than something akin to the OG Millenium Falcon toy, where the panels popped off and figures could sit inside certain compartments.

 

Why not both for double the room like one of the more recent millennium falcons(?2015 if my memory is correct)

 

The original leaks suggested it's the Kingdom Titan, the info they were able to provide along with the images leaked later seemed to corroborate each other. However, there's at least one person who's source insisted it's "something else" while the Kingdom Titan was (I think) Tidal Wave.

So there's something coming related to the Ark, likely next year. What we're not sure about (since both leakers have a pretty reliable track record) is what that's going to look like. The way I see it, both leakers are telling the truth but since their sources differ it's possible one of them has old info compared to the other. So at one point the Titan was the Ark and then things changed, or at one point the Titan was Tidal Wave and then things changed.

If the Ark is the Titan, I'd think it's safe to assume it's going to have a bot mode and a base mode. With the detachable Teletraan-1 forming a part of the ship mode and then forming the console when in base mode. (It's role in a theoretical bot mode would remain to be seen. But if the Ark is a Titan...it'd have a bot mode.)

 

A lot of folks still seem to be in denial about this, Hasbro are a toy company, they're about to have a big event to reveal many new toys. There's no way these two things aren't connected.
Besides which I seem to recall that they teased Titans Return Fortress Maximus in a similar manner with a stylised diagram that appeared at Botcon.

Maybe this is why the new deluxe and voyager figures aren't as big, maybe a Titan Class Ark was always planned.

Yeah, I reckon if they could do both really well, I'm not one to say 'no' to extra features! It'd be pretty rad to have something that several Autobots congregate in.

If the Titan turns out to be Tidal Wave, I wouldn't be that disappointed. I would rather fans of a later series get an actual character since I don't really think of The Ark as a G1 character per se. If it is The Ark though, I do hope they lean into the base mode in service of the excellent figures they've been putting out lately.

 

This blueprint for all the various spots inside the Ark looks promising. Im really hoping Hasbro goes the collector route and makes an Ark the size of Scorponok that transforms into a CHUG scale Teletran-1 as opposed to some silly new robot character. It could have a medical bay for dead Prime on one side and a prison cell on the other side. Bonus points if they have opening compartments that turn into rooms for titan master scale figures in spaceship mode. That would be so awesome.

 

Ooo and the prison cell is based on the ones from thw g1 epsiode where they had all the stunticons

And then Titans Return, as a whole, was an accidental official reveal when Hasbro put up the wrong banner/advert at a convention/toyfair.
