Some research reveals a 3P trailer was available. I don't own Motermaster as I missed the whole CW, TR and POTP. I do want to get full versions of the stunticons and combaticons but price on eBay is a little high.

I don't think any of you understand exactly how many Scourges I intend on buying...

I wonder if this means we'll see some cheap loose original Breakdowns so I can finally do that Earth mode Impactor custom I've been wanting to do since the last Wreckers comic...

They get the shaft from Hasbro because they stock 3Ps. Childish.

Today's arrival, courtesy of Star Action Figures!! Just wish I could have afforded more!

Arms Micron Breakdown as a Deluxe? That's crazy talk. Remember when we used to ridicule anybody who suggested that the 10th Anniversary release could be anything other than a more modern deluxe redecoed. Good times.

Fucks sake. Put wheeljack on the sofa arm for a minute while i did something and he took a dive backwards.

Wing snapped off. Glued it now, but accidentally took some paint off his chest when i touched it with some glue without realising i had some on that finger. I'm officially not doing anything the rest of tonight.

When everybody's enjoying the new mainline wave...I just paid off FT Astrotrain. Supposedly out next week.

Potentially making a trip to Smyth's tomorrow to see who/what is up and about.

Sad to hear/read that post about Kapow. People need to get their life priorities straight if they hound personal facebook pages to ask about orders. Tbh I did see a fella make a complaint in a FB sales page about a chap who messaged the guy's wife or something at 3 in the morning to ask if his item shipped.

They're toys. 99.9% of the people buying these have some of them already. Play with your current toys and chill :D

PS: Looking forward to the 86 studio series bots. They look/sound amazing.

    C1-10P "Chopper"

The droid of the team, Chop is Hera Syndula's oldest friend amongst the crew of the Ghost, rescued from a crashed Republic Y-Wing that went down on her homeworld of Ryloth during the Clone Wars. Chop is a C1-series astromech droid, analogous to R2-D2, but with none of the charm. Honestly, when Chopper was first shown on the show, I really disliked him. His whole schtick seemed to just be 'R2 with attitude', and that just seemed like lazy writing to me. However, over the course of the show, he actually got some character development and he ended up being a pretty likable member of the team. He even got his own C-3PO expy who was basically the Star Wars equivalent of Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

    20200916_204705.jpg

Chopper has the basic profile of an astromech droid, but he's anything but. Since Hera had to rebuild him after the crash, he's a mish-mash of parts, open panels, and exposed innards. He even has two different leg struts, with one looking more like a shortened R2 leg, while the other has a rounder top with sand green paint decorating it. Unlike R2-D2 and other astromechs seen in the films, Chopper's third 'leg' is not another set of rollers on the bottom of a foot, but a simple black wheel. On the toy it spins freely and can even be pushed into the body for two-leg standing poses. What's fantastic about this is that unlike Hasbro's other astromech droids in the Black Series (R2-D2 and BT-1 being the only tow I recall off the top of my head) Chop retains full head movement. On the older droids, the third leg was lowered from inside the body by twisting the head around, but that meant the head swivel was completely useless for play purposes because you couldn't move it without the leg also moving!

    20200916_204826.jpg

Like R2, Chop has a manipulator arm on the front of his torso. It swings out on a hinge, and there's a second hinge in the middle to give it some further movement. UNLIKE R2, Chopper has two more arms on the side of his head. What, that's not where you keep your arms? They swing out on hinged panels, and there's another hinge at the 'elbow'. Chop also comes with another leg, this one matching the one he already has. This comes from an episode in Rebels' second season where Chop... *ahem* 'liberates' the leg from a shopkeeper after not being able to afford to buy it. Even though he doesn't actually use the leg in the episode, you can switch it on the toy by way of a small balljoint in Chopper's 'shoulder' that is easy to pop off and on again. He also comes with another option for his third leg (oo-er). In the show his wheel can retract and in its place is a small rocket booster that he uses to fly around. If you remove the wheel piece, the toy comes with a separate rocket that plugs in to his underside, with a translucent orange flame jetting out of it. Now, you can't get Chop to stand with this piece installed, so the toy ALSO comes with what might be the greatest accessory I've gotten recently.

    20200916_204934.jpg

A BLAST EFFECT THE ROCKET EXHAUST PLUGS INTO! AMAZING! Man, I've had so many figures over the years that I've wanted to get into a decent flying pose, only to have no flight stands available. Well, this alleviates that little problem entirely. The exhaust plugs in nice and snug, so there's no danger of Chop falling off.

Chopper is the smallest figure in the Rebels wave of Black Series figures, but that in no way means he's inferior to the others. He has some seriously good playability, wonderful features and is just an all round great toy of the character.

    "wOb WoB wOb!"

If we're talking AAA open world games, Breath of the Wild still rules. Great balance of action and adventure, my only real gripe is that the NPC side quests lack a little. Great game if you like to stay focussed on the main objectives but for me the game is at its best when you stray off the beaten track and simply explore and see what you stumble upon. Sequel when?

Came home to a couple of parcels today, Selects Rotorstorm and Studio series Prime.
I'd initially dithered over Rotorstorm and missed the pre-orders with the usual suspects, so jumped on the recent Amazon offering. Glad to have him in the collection. I was already a fan of the Spinister mold, and while I would have preferred a figure sculpt closer to his original toy, I'm pretty happy with what we got. This is what Selects is all about, repaints/retools into obscure characters that we would otherwise never get in the mainline.

Then courtesy of eBay I got BB movie Prime. Do I need yet another Optimus? No. Do I collect movie bots? No. But this figure caught my eye when it was first released - it then seemed to be rarer than rocking horse shit, so I figured I'd not get one. Happened across this one by chance, put in a cheeky bid, expecting to get snipered, but won him for slightly less than rrp. Happy days.
He's my first Studio series figure, he has an intricate Transformation, not too keen on the way the legs go together, but overall I'm happy with my off the cuff purchase. He'll make a nice deskbot.

    20200917_201136.jpg

The Kapow post confirms my suspicion that they have a backlog, which would explain why I've yet to see my Rebel figures. No problem, just glad I didn't jump the gun and send an email. Never had anything but quality service from them, so happy to be patient. Sounds like they get a lot of grief from the worst side of the fandom, that's not cool. At the end of the day, there's a lot more important issues, especially these days, than having to wait a bit longer to receive our plastic crack!

I'm about 1 and a half series into Rebels and Chopper's my favourite character.

Best moments so far are when he pushed the other droid out the ship when they were considering keeping him and when he deliberately rolled over one of Ezra's hands when he was hanging from a ledge.

And even moreso than R2 he always sounds like he's muttering some sort of obscenity under his breath! :D

Next favourite character is Zeb, after that I'm indifferent on the other regulars except for Ezra who needs a slap with a blunt instrument every time he speaks.

I enjoyed seeing an Interdictor Star Destroyer from the old EU appear in one episode and I already know Thrawn's in it so there's maybe some other things to enjoy that I don't yet know about....I know Tom Baker's character is a Force user that's neither light or dark and there's Mandalorian stuff still to come so it'll keep me going until series 2 starts.

Speaking of which I've seen a closeup of the bit from the trailer where Mando is zooming into the distance on a speeder bike and he's got a new jetpack and helmet as cargo....I smell another variant from Hasbro!

Well, now I also realise that, I just needed my internal calendar correcting courtesy of @Lothar Hex!

Speaking of Re-educations, I get the distinct feeling this isn't the first "first time" I've realised for city Fanmode Max actually works best with Helipad leg in Battlestation mode-slid position and "hospital leg" in central leg position!

    DSC_0048 (2).JPG DSC_0047 (1).JPG
Now if I could only photograph him properly!

EDIT: And now, far too late, I realise I had forgotten to do my usual "fingerpipes" pose with his fists for city mode - BAH! And, indeed, HUMBUG!

I see they've cast Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black - and Parks & Rec, which is where I know her from - as She-Hulk for the upcoming TV series. Works for me!

Seeing as she managed umpteen characters in Orphan Black as a one-woman (playing several) Acting Masterclass, she should be fine with just two! I hope the whole thing works out for her.

Interesting. I'm guessing that means we're getting a CGI She-Hulk, but I'm not sure how that's gonna work with her usual preference for staying in her Hulk form, especially on a TV budget. If that aspect gets missed out, I'll be rather disappointed.
