I checked Grune's face prior to posting that and I stand by what I said. Grune's upper lip and nose are beast-like (he's supposed to read as a bad guy), but his overall facial silhouette is human. Pumm-Ra is full-on Simba from Lion King (I know Simba came later).
I thought PummRa was a stretch too. I don't really recall that episode even though I taped everything from the Toonami run way back.
The two thunderan guards who confront lion-o in the episode where he travels to meet Claudus both have animalistic faces. I always assumed it was a race type thing on thundera?
Puma-Ra is a bit of a reach. Can’t say there aren’t 10-15 figures ahead of him but I most definitely remember the episode and the figure looks great. My only complaint is the mixed materials. I just don’t care for the fabric, I would be much happier with soft plastic. Really too bad he isn’t in a significantly later wave. Hachiman or Mandora would have put me in a CAT-atonic state. See what I did there.
Lynx-o/Pumm-ra really don't have much going on for $45. I'll pay it for Monkian, though. Both heads are brilliant.
I thought the same but they are universally all the same price. Snowman is only $45. So.... seems like they could have thrown in a trinket. But I never use that shit anyway.

Preordered the entire wave 4 figs from BBTS. Don't remember Pummra and don't really care since I want to support this line as long as Super7 is willing to make them! UPDATE: I received a defective Lion O from BBTS that had his ab joint completely glued down by the factory and contacted BBTS CS about the issue. BBTS CS emailed me back today and stated they will be mailing me a new Lion O as a replacement free of charge! I took several photos of the glued down ab joint and they agreed it was a factory mistake. Thanks BBTS for the quick turn around and a great resolution to my problem!
Behold the power of Google! Thundercats Wiki. Thunderians were the inhabitants of the planet Thundera. They included the noble ThunderCats. The people of the planet have varying levels of feline traits. The traits seems to be racial divisions amongst the thunderians, as different groups have different dominating traits.
