Personally, I prefer Tarantulas's IDW design to his BW design, but I don't think we're getting those three this year. Maybe next year?

If we eventually get him. Would Terrorsaur be better as a deluxe or a voyager?

I agree to a certain extent, they could have honestly released that trio as Selects with more accurate paint jobs so people who couldn't get them before can have them available. I am still glad they are giving them new molds though, even if it kinda feels like those spots could have been given to the missing Preds

For real man, Terrorsaur specially is begging for a new mold. The original Inferno and Tarantulas are really good figures but they have become really expensive and hard to find complete. Me and @Novaburnhilde are sharing the same signature to, in her own words, show solidarity for the boys :lol  If anyone wants to do the same you are welcome do so!

Speaking of figures that hard to find don’t even get me started on the BotCon exclusives. I’ve completed the main/retail BW toy line, but it’s unlikely I’ll ever get these ones.

IMO Terrorsaur would work fine as a large deluxe. But if it would work engineering wise to have more room for budget then I'd be totally down with a short-ish Voyager. Tarantulas is fine as a Deluxe and Inferno was a big boy so he needs to be a Voyager.

I think it's too soon to write off Terrorsaur,Tarantulas and BW Inferno out of Kingdom. Especially since Kingdom hasn't been officially revealed yet anyway. Not to mention that we didn't get info on us getting guys like Ironhide,Ratchet,Prowl, and the Seekers in Earthrise once Earthrise was officially revealed until much later down the line. So really there's still a chance for us to get all 3 remaining Predacons for Kingdom.

I would LOVE Mainframe! The only clue we've had is it's someone who never transformed before... The color leads me to think it's Emirate Xaaron.

I'm sure it'll still be a "playset", in the same way that all City-bots are.

But in terms of being just a diorama of the Autobot base from G1 S1/2 (and Beast Wars S3, sorta), then no.

I feel these points have some genuine merit.

From what we know of Kingdom's retail line-up (which is basically everything thanks to the listings and leaks), we're getting re-releases of Earthrise Optimus Prime, Starscream, Arcee and Wheeljack, as well as an Earth-mode retool of Siege Ultra Magnus.

Magnus aside, the reason for re-releases is presumably a financial one, as less new figures means less development costs. Why then not re-release the T30 figures? Even the costs associated with a retooling (Waspinator's wings being an example above) I can only assume would be less so than creating an entirely new Waspinator figure.

If people couldn't find the T30 figures at the time (or haven't been able to subsequently (despite being so "reliably and repeatedly informed" over the past 6 years that the three figures did nothing but shelf-warm)), a re-release seems (from the outside) like a no-brainer.

I mean, technically it isn't a "re-release" in the typical sense of it. These are all "War for cybertron" toys, a single line with "parts". This feels to me more like, when a figure exists in multiple waves in a line. Before I can call it a "re-release", i feel like the first release has to be at least off the shelves. This just feels like increasing availability of already available products. That feels different than bringing back 6 year old toys.

Not that I'd care either way. I'd be fine with re-releases, and I welcome new interpretations once again. So it doesn't matter to me.

    Same :(

Because they want to integrate them into the new line? Just like how there's Optimus Prime in almost every line (Difference in popularity I know, but you get the idea). I don't think it's a waste of effort anyway, considering I've never even see any of the T30 BW on store (had to pay some... high price for Rattrap and Rhinox before).

And get rid of Rattrap's Rubbery joint, downscale the mouse so he'll be at least more or less in scale...

It'd be easier and more efficient to integrate them into a new line, IMO.

I just hope this line does well. However, removing my nostalgia goggles and bias, part of me need to understand Beast Wars (and the Beast era as a whole) is a very specific era of the brand. Overall, BW was very much the '90 'weird phase' of Transformers and the vehicular era has very much won out in public consciousness with the massive success of the Bay movies combined with '80 nostalgia Overall, from the 2000 to the 2020, its been mostly just cars and trucks and some oddball mecha animals. Can Beast Wars still work at mass retail without its excellent cartoon and a fresh audience of '90 children or will they just think its 'weird' they are animals and not vehicles? The shift worked in 1996 because G1 and G2 had become unpopular so for my generation it was a clean slate of the 'old robots' and BW being the 'new robots, new style' while Gen Z and what came after have been exposed to vehicular TF for the last twenty years.
