    One of our staff received this from board member Autoplex (Thanks Autoplex!). Autoplex sent an e-mail to Cartoon Network Australia, inquiring about the status of Animated in that country. Here was the reply...

    Well yeah thats to be expected. Around July or later I would guess.

    But huge thanks to Autoplex for actually getting in contact with them to ask. :D

    it's more than likely it's around that time is starts to get broadcast in the uk too

    I'd honestly prefer it to actually air WHEN THE TOYS ARE AVAILABLE so kids will, you know, look for the toys and find them, instead of looking around in vain like they might do soon in the US.

    Yesterday in Target I overheard a kid in the toy isle asking his mom where the other Transformers toys were, and what 'Real Gear Robots' meant. I think if Animated continues to do so well, that store clerks are going to get pretty tired of explaining that no, we don't have any of those toys, and won't for some time.

    Meh. I'll still get it off the internet because I don't want to put down money for cable.

    That's part of the reason I'm looking forward to Animated toys. The only Transformers I've seen around here lately are the Cyber Slammers, Real Gear Robots, and basically all the spinoff things that aren't part of the main series of figures (leading me to wonder why on earth they sell Transformers that DON'T TRANSFORM without any good reason).
