    Got a surprise yesterday:

Head articulation is very limited compared to Cage. Better hip articulation due to softpiece being there. Better body back tilt than forward. Can still give some very cool poses.

Paint looks great. Definitely worth the price.

Is this the same guy who plays drax in guardians of the galaxy?

Oh, thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it! I guess the ninjas aren’t good because the articulation is limited by the plastic attire?

Looks like him (David Bautis)...used to wrestle too.

@Turnman : thanks for sharing pictures! The figure looks good! The reasons I’m thinking of going into this line is because of different characters McFarlane has released or are releasing: Scorpion, Sub Zero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Kitana and Baraka.

And Shao Kahn and Liu Kang are next! In almost a year, we have most of the heavy hitters (to me)! Especially Liu Kang...the last figure was from Jazwares (?) and it didn’t look good...

Of course having Sonya Blade will be a bonus but I’m satisfied with the current line-up. I will “break” if McFarlane release the classic designs.

The articulation is definitely lacking compared to the later figures in the line. I bought wave 1 Scorpion, and it fell to pieces. Sub Zero is better than Scorpion, but still kinda lackluster. I’d be lying if I said the Purple repaint isn’t enticing tho.

1st I’ve heard of that happening. Where did it break?

Head kept popping off, swords broke, and the torso cracked. I’m thinking I got a lemon.

Wowzers...quite surprised by the issues you had. May I know how and where the swords broke?

I put the swords in the sheath, but when I tried removing them, the large on snapped in half while the other broke off at the hilt.

If McFarlane could make the classic designs the line would blow the Storm Collectibles one out of the water.

The extra hands are nice but considering how much SC figures cost, no way are they four times better than the McFarlane figures. Plus the simple outfits would mean that articulation would not be as limited by it.

Wowzers! Tbh I originally suspected the swords breakages was due to the sheaths...it escapes me now but I had a figure that suffered the same issue...unlike Hasbro, I suspect the plastic used for the sheaths were of a harder material.

Yeah, the main reason I didn’t pick up most (only have Goro) of the Storm Collectibles MK figures because I feel something is “off” with the sculpt...I can’t place it.

Forgot to comment on the Space Marines...if only the Doom guy could be posed like that...I would have picked it up. Sometimes, I really feel that the McFarlane team is either inexperience in terms of articulation design or didn't think things through. IMO the bare minimum for an action figure (with guns - especially the longer ones) is to hold them in both hands.

I'm curious if they will release Space Orcs (name?) If so, I may go into this sub-line! X)

Picked up Raiden and I’m impressed by the figure. The paint details on the figure are impressive and while not as articulated as a ML figure, I’m satisfied with it.

If McFarlane can sort out the articulation...my goodness, they can give Hasbro a run for their money.

Thanks man! Totally forgot the name!

Like the Witcher figs. Articulation being decent I’ll try to pick them up as generic fantasy figures (not knowing much about the game/book). The dune figures don’t look super exciting to me, but that might partly be cause I’m wedded to the lynch version.
