With the release of WFC Scorponok his fellow Autobot conterparts are severely undermatched in the articulation department. In fact he looks better with G1 Fortress Maximus instead of Titan's Return Fort Max imo. With that said it seems more likely to redo Metroplex at this point in time since it's been about 10 years since the last release. I consider G1 version 1, then version 2, and a future release a version 3. Here are some things that are obvious that I would want.

    Ankle tilt
Height seems to be just about right 22"-24".
Better city mode, more transforming parts to accomplish this, ie better engineering.
Scamper & Six Gun included in the box
    2 guns
More paint in certain areas, less stickers

I'm not overly interested in him, but the story of why t30 metroplex tuned out the way he did is very facinating.
According to the designer, they bweren't told it was a generations release until late in the process, so most of the work was done to match Primes language.

    Ankle tilt
Swivel knee joints to allow for a better base mode.
Chest ramp that actually touches the ground.
    NO electronics or lights.

Please god, no more stickers. Paint apps FTW. They could also ditch the electronic gimmick while they're at it, and put that money towards better articulation.

    Better proportions
    No Stickers
    Ankle tilt
    No electronics

But all that said, unless a new one would absolutely blow my mind I'm perfectly fine with the one I already have. All I need is a Slammer to go along with it.

A.I.R. ports, that’s all I’m asking for. Going forward, it would be great if all bases in Generations utilized those connection methods, even with Warden leaving then design team and WFC2018 ending before we get a new Metroplex.

    * Compatibility with TR, WFC and CW (for the Scramble City reference)
    * Not being super lanky (I'd like the FOC proportions where he's super beefy)
*Articulation like Omega supreme and Scorpy
    *no stickers
    *looks good with Trypticon.

I want a perfect G1 toon MP figure. It's gonna be costly, but if they kept it around the size of what the Generations figure is, I'd be mostly ok with that.

I don’t expect it to include Slammer, but it should be released in retail. I would want to provide proper uses for Siege Sixgun. Overall, better thought-out interaction with previous lines (Titan Masters and MicroMasters) and playability. For example, Trypticon could’ve had consoles molded under his toes or Omega inside the hangar space, with a Titan peg Spike could’ve ridden Cog. Better use of empty spaces (unlike Fortress’ and Omega’s shins). As mentioned previously, ramps that reach the ground at a decent angle. Metroplex and Fortress failed at this. No A.I.R. ports that lead nowhere or are impeded, like SkyLynx and Omega. Ankle tilts.

Shorter (to more match Trypticons height)
    Better proportioned
Scamper and Slammer - the latter doesnt need a robot mode maybe just some slight transformation to make a tower
Compatibility with the parts of Siege Sixgun so he can be integrated (although to get the cartoon look this may not be necessary as six gun will in theory come with him)
Tying to the above - all his correct weaponry -thin shoulder guns, two hand guns, and his twin guns on his back to give the cartoon look
A better head - not the strange looking head the original had

We are getting a Kingdom Slammer.

    Improvements I want:
    • A more G1 Accurate appearance
    • Turning into his original city mode instead of two hallways and a platform
    • Current Articulation Standards like Scorponok
    • All Paint apps
    • Scamper 2.0
    • Titans Return and Earthrise base Compatability
    • No Electronics

Ankle tilt, a bit more stability, and a better city mode would do it for me.

Oh, and an assured Metrotitan repaint. :)

Other than that I still like T30 Metroplex a lot.

Just do what they did with Trypticon and Scorponok. Look like the G1 toys only much bigger, articulated but still have more or less the same modes.

Ultimately that seems to be what most of us want.

    "G1 but bigger and articulated".

I think the biggest thing is I want him to not look so lanky. I always like G1 Metroplex toy's squarish features.

More accurate g1 guns would be great. The white pillars, the black shoulder guns, and the giant red guns for his hands.

Hope he is made during a line revisiting titan masters and bringing the gimmick back line-wide. Then he should have plenty of pegs for the little guys.
Make Scamper a deluxe with a titan master. Therefore the city mode has to be compatible with deluxe size vehicles.
Would like both types of ramp connections (which Scorponok should have had).

Maybe I'm in the minority but I'd like it to scale with 3p legends or legends+ figures. I want my collection to have a place to crawl around and feel close to scale.

If they make a new Metroplex, I want it to have two red antimatter cannons, and a usable chest garage. Also, stronger hip and knee joints. And yes, ankle articulation.

I missed out on the last Titans release and was sorely tempted to pay after market prices but thought better. I suspect we won't see that much of an upgrade on version 2 and I'm not too picky, the big thing for me is that the ratchets stay solid over time. I'm more a play with once and pose on shelf collector.
