Showed the intro to visual art class I'm temporarily teaching "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way", very personal for me since being given the book version in Jr High got me to draw using more structure than just random doodling before I could take any sort of art class. (though given how old this is, I want to die every time my classes watch the part where Stan Lee says "...and there's only one word to describe how we draw women's lips...pleasing!") (Also being a Sword and Sorcery fanboy, having the demos done by co-host John Buscema makes this even better)
Ah. the good old days of USA Network in the mid 1980s with their Satuarday Nightmares airings of horror movies and Up All Night. I miss those days. Up All Night introduced me to Video Dead all the time when it came on USA Network. also Commander USA was pretty trippy. Mostly showed obscure violent kung fu movies once in awhile and im surprised USA Network got away with that kind of stuff
They aired the toxic avenger movies right after cartoon express on weekends! Right after a episode of smurfs or scooby-doo is this gory film! Kids must have loved them as they made a kids cartoon and marvel comic later! Speaking of kids watching adult things on saturday mornings! This and toonami started the big anime boom at the time!
Directed by the creator of Castle Grayskulllman, Daniel "Masque" Bennadict. The diorama, my first, was built by me. Please like on YouTube if you don’t mind?! It’s 31 seconds of nostalgia goodness!
That was a pretty bad commercial. the figures didnt have their weapons in their hands. Plus He-Man's arms while they were poseabble, they were bent at weird angles
