I knew what I was getting in to with this mold. I knew parts-forming was a thing for it, although not necessary. I knew it was pretty much a shellformer. In all honesty, i should have followed my intuition and skipped it. Oh well, here we are. Earthrise Arcee is a decent figure if you ignore the fact that the T30 and even Cyberverse versions exist. Articulation: Some of the joints are a bit loose, but not fall-over bad. Head is on a ball joint, but can't look up or down. Shoulders and elbows have good range. Wrists swing in and out, but no swivel. Waist swivel works. Hips, thighs and knees are good, but that foot rocker is annoying. It moves up and down okay, but the rocker is one of those notched joints that essentially pops into place, making its usage somewhat frustrating. That face is seriously white. I really wish there was more paint here. Who wears the backpack better? Transformation isn't intuitive and is a chore to line the body up perfectly under its shell. *sigh* Who wears the alt mode better? Overall, if you have the T30 or Cyberverse versions, you can skip Earthrise Arcee. It has nothing to offer that the other two do better.
Although I agree, your obvious preference for T30 Arcee in the pictures is amusing. The side front and side comparison pics actually show that the new Arcee is not that bad. The body proportions are certainly an improvement. The unpainted face is a glaring omission. But, the worst part is that alt-mode. It’s so boring and soap-bar-reminiscent.
I agree that the T30 version also has a big backpack, but it's handled better and doesn't appear to be a separate piece. I think that's the killer for me. If the entire backpack could have been compressed better, then that with the improved body proportions definitely would have put it over the top.
You’ve reaffirmed my decision to skip this figure, that alt-mode, yikes! With an alt-mode that compromised, we should have gotten a perfect bot mode without parts forming.
T30 Arcee has some thicc thighs. I like the proportions of ER Arcee much better. Especially when compared side to side.
This is too bad. I’m a sucker for whatever few Fembots we get and I do prefer the look of this figure to the overly-feminized proportions of the T30 mold. I’m gonna wait out and see if this mold gets a Netflix or Studio Series repaint. I think some more details or a wash would improve it especially in vehicle mode.

Yeah, Elita-1 makes this mold look much better. I’m wondering if Arcee herself will get a release in a later Netflix wave (if there is one). Some battle damage might actually look good on her.
This just makes me want to get her even more. Robot mode is a huge improvement over T30, even with the parts-forming.
I think I like this regardless of the flaws. I like a waist swivel, for one thing, which dear old T30 didn't have. And ER Arcee looks like she feels less fragile than T30. How do they compare weight-wise/sturdiness in hand? Would you mind taking a side-view shot of Earthrise without the scooter/surf board/battle platform/kibble attached? I'm no fan of partsforming, but I'm interested to see what the base robot mode profile looks like without the entire car hanging off her back.
I regret buying this thing. It is an incredibly low quality product. Feels similar to the new hasbro megazord in many ways.
Mine just arrived. Good god, what a piece of shit. Easily the worst toy in the WFC line so far. Can someone please post a pic showing the correct orientation of the legs on the underside of the vehicle mode?
I am wary of anyone claiming the T30 fembots are what fembots should aspire to since all three of them are half-way to where they should be.
