Alongside Prime, Starscream, Megatron, Ironhide, Prowl, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, Mirage...etc etc etc.

So yes, thank you for proving my point that obscure characters aren't out of the question provided there's enough top-tier names to go along side it. Hell, even Kingdom is going to put Prime, Galvatron, Starscream, and other G1 heavy-hitters alongside it's S1 cast.

Originally I was thinking Ton Ton was secretly a Hasbro employee and leaking was their knew corporate strategy to promote the Kingdom line. You know, stick it to the man. Then I saw the Ratchet review where Ton Ton dropped like 10 F-bombs and called the figure s**t. From that point on, I knew he was no Hasbro employee. Now I think he is a god.
Shout out to Ton Ton keep those leaks coming !

Ha ha, come on, where are you even going with this. Both lines put out a new Optimus Prime or Starscream every two months or so. The idea that one has drained its big names dry while the other has a reserve of untapped big guns is bonkers.

Even the kingdom stuff is forgoing the 5mm ports for the most part. None of the beasts wars figures have them.

good old stolen toys.  Not that knowing about them isn\'t exciting, but how much Earthrise do we have left?

Except to be media accurate, the chest would have to change shape. Hot Rod's chest isn't shaped like his hood.

is he really that much more accurate? I mean he looks good, but looks like it takes it's own liberties just like every other version (the chest seems particularly boxy and long on this figure)

I like the aesthetic but am curious to see a size comparison with literally anything. Have a feeling we're in for yet another shrinkening

I've seen the lists people post about who's left for the Bayverse and there's a dearth of top tier names. And when I say "top tier" I specifically mean names that general audiences recognize. The few leaks we've gotten suggest that guys like "Dino" are finally happening, which are the kinds of names that a Bayverse fan specifically will recognize, but that's not the same as having a Jazz or Hot Rod/Rodimus/Prime etc to put in the case.

Hell, the WfC style is going to create the same problem. If the line starts focusing on accuracy above all else, it makes it harder to revisit popular characters and keep those names on shelves. That's why Studio is expanding. And now WfC has trained people to think Generations is going to do the same thing (scale and source accuracy).

That's why I'm all in favor of transitioning the WfC style to Studio and making it clear that is the line that'll guarantee screen accuracy and scale, while trying my best to pivot Generations away from that same path. BW is a great way to do it. The cast of the show was very small, so you're not as tightly bound to scale while still being able to produce new toys. You can take any BW toy that didn't have a spot on the show and make them whatever class you want.

It also opens the door to characters with popular names that aren't necessarily that character. BW has a Grimlock, Ironhide, Prowl, Silverbolt, etc...you can put those names on shelves and remind people that "Hey, Ironhide doesn't always have to look like he did in G1!"

After three years of that, you'll have a fanbase more open to new interpretations again because you've put the effort in to redefining Studio as the accurate line and Generations as the reference line.

TANTAN211 ? Really ? Clearly its the same leaker with a slightly different screen name for whatever website he posted these pictures on. And Im cool with that. Also 211 is one of my favorite beers. With 8.1 % alcohol volume, youll be seeing fossilizers too.
