When you're scripting your SERIOUS NETFLIX ANIME TRANSFORMERS FOR GROWN UPS and you see Season 3's big toy gimmick.

    I fucking love Transformers.

I can see a lot of "MP only collectors" such as myself getting into this line without zero hesitation.

The MP line will never be finished by TT. Some loved characters will NEVER be made, no matter how much we lie to ourselves. (3P is another discussion, I'm talking strictly TT here and yes I do buy some tHrEpEeEeEe).

Studio series? That certainly gives me hope of seeing great representations of characters we all love (COMBINERS ANYONE???) and since licensing will not be required (at least I assume that, correct me if I'm wrong) then some heavy hitters will be able to finally see the light of day, even if some artistic liberties are taken in order to make them happen (Jazz, Stunticons). All this while being affordable.

Truly the golden era for being a TF collector.

I’d like to see some unused concept art characters, like the ones by Josh Nizzi or Furio Tedeschi, turn into figure form as a new type of HFTD line for Studio Series.

Do you think that a SS 86 Magnus could scale correctly with MP?

Devastator was considered, but just didn’t make the cut and didn’t make it to design stage. They took him more seriously than Dragonstorm and Infernocus though.

Quite debatable but yes, I guess if you enjoyed that movie and the design then good for ya.

I don\'t who is Fossilizer but man does he look interesting, really reminds me of those old skeleton toys.

New Hot rod looks promising, glad that I hold of on the TR and POTP offerings.

An 86 movie Devestator could've been amazing....

The Titan one just doesn't do it for me at all.

These look great, I’m especially impressed by how good the Fossilizer looks.

Very excited to have a new, good Hot Rod for the collection.

I see that nasty habit that latter day Starscreams' have of the robot mode chest being a fake cockpit is catching. That Hot Rod is a big miss for me. If they cant be bothered to design a figure where the bot mode chest isn't a fake hood then they can't have my money.

A non live action series showing up in the studio series is unprecedented, until we saw these, we didn’t know how they’d been done.

And frankly, they’re obviously intended to match the WFC line alongside being a studio series line. Otherwise they wouldn’t have the extra detailing that they have.

I’m gonna get some hate for this, but it sucks. The ports are one of my favorite aspects of the current line. I love adding weapons, and even if I didn’t care about that, I love having the weapon storage that extra 5 mm ports provide. I don’t like feeling like we’re going back in quality.

I don’t like what these designers seem to like. Ie fake parts, parts forming shields, and a focus on nastalgia. I’m really glad Diaclone is at least doing the things I enjoy
