    And so it begins!

Our first blurry look (potentially) at a SS:86 figure and it's only bloody Hot Rod.

Reports are he's coming in at the Voyager price point, but is a Deluxe sized figure with Voyager class engineering budget and a bevy of accessories.

And there's Deluxe class Jazz. Gee wilikers, he looks like he stepped right off the cartoon (don't...)[IMG]

Listings, I believe, also show an SS:86 Leader class Grimlock and Slag, Voyager Scourge, and Deluxe class Blurr, Kup, and Gnaw.

It feels safe to say we'll be getting more SS:86 figures, further down the line, but I believe this is the 2021 assortment.

Of course, the biggest question for me is going to be 'how well do these work with my Prime Wars and WfC trilogy figures'. Very well, I hope.

Hot Rod looks pretty neat so far. That's straight up just Jazz's animation model.

This is where I expect to see new Constructicons actually, considering Devastator had such a big presence in the Battle of Autobot City. This way they can do like the Bayverse movie Constructicons, & stretch him over 12-18 months without worry of him being compromised by gimmicks or all in one line (like Kingdom)

I’ve speculated on this being the way to get another version of Devastator, with better quality individual Constructicons. @Bob Schoonover has asked me to lay off the magic mushrooms.

Oh definitely! I think my main wonder now is if any of the Studio Series figures will get the usual repaints. For example, I’d 100% expect Jazz to have been given a Gen Selects black Stepper / Riccochet if he was in Kingdom, but as he’s a Studio Series figure (and potentially a licensed Porsche) & Stepper was never in the movie, I’m wondering where that would leave him now.

I actually think them coming out as part of Studio Series could be plausible IFF* the live action movie schedule gets heavily delayed and they need to pad that sub-line for a year or more.

So will the studio series 86 cover all the figures from the movie, or only those who havn't gotten a toy in WFC or Earthrise? I haven't been keeping up much on SS86 info.

What is this Math lingo doing here?

My completely ill informed guess is that if it was a redeco of a character not in the film then it would go to Selects or Generations.

Between him and catz, you really have to wonder how much of our lives are being swayed by talking animals

I'm really looking forward to these. And I hope that after this, we get more 1988-89 characters. :D

Every year since Titans Return started has been expensive for me.

I'm happy with Titans Return Kup and the Takara Legends Blurr.

I may part with the oversized POTP Dinobots if we get all 5 as Leaders. POTP Grimlock really paid for the transformation gimmick.

I hope we get Snarl given his neglect in TF:TM. I'm also hoping if we get Ultra Magnus, we'll get his Diaclone colour scheme used in the early trailer and finally have a retail Delta Magnus.

A Titan sized Cyclonus for Galvatron to pilot would be great. His tech specs did describe him as a huge, emotionless warrior.
