Well, I’m one of the biggest Dinobots/Dinosaur fans there is, and it’s really tough for me to skip this one, but seeing he’s similarly sized with FansToys Dinobots that I have doubles of and paid much less for, that’s what keeps reminding me that this figure is just too costly for what you get. Had he been priced at $150 as you mentioned I probably would have purchased him. Someone wake me up when he goes on sale ;)

Value is in the eye of the beholder, and I am certainly not saying your opinions are wrong, but I feel like for what $150 buys today in terms of both 3P and official figures, this Grimlock does feel justified at $200+. I guess I would be interested in learning what would be some examples of figures that you feel are "worth" $150?

One thing I would say regarding Fans Toys Dinobots is that when they were originally released, they were $200 (I think). If they were released today they'd easily cost $250~300 (similar to the upcoming Thomas)

That’s true, I suppose I just don’t spend that much on figures usually, 100 was the most I had spent before wrath, on black apples mpm4. I do see that relative to other products on the market that this grimlock isn’t too overpriced. Busy say if that Chinese perfect model for prime would come out at 150 dollars I’d think that was okay.

mp43 is also 250+, I am not a die hard bw fan. With mp43, we get a panel folded T. rex with very little articulation in Dino mode, even doudted if the backpack is screen accurate. But it is true, for most 3rd party figures, 100-150 will be a more OK price range for the buyers

    Target has MPM-10 for 149.99 + Tax.

Yes, Target. You can even have it shipped to your door or the nearest store.

All other stores are overcharging which means .... they are overcharging for this figure as well.

For those of you who already have this... Are there batteries or anything of that sort in the package?

There are no batteries in the package. No electronics in this figure.

I paid $159-$179US each for the FansToys Dinobots with free shipping and when the exchange rate was decent. I’m in Canada so we have to add roughly 35% now to the price for exchange and also free shipping doesn’t exist to my country currently, so add on another $30 bringing Wrath’s price up to $350 CDN. And I understand prices overall have increased slightly, but Wrath just isn’t on the same level as FansToys in my eyes. Just look at the thread count here compared to FansToys Dino’s. Wrath is simply priced too high and they made him too small. I’ll wait for the inevitable sale.

As someone who owns 3 out of the 5 FT Dibots plus the Perfect Fusion Cesium (I don't have their Swoop) and paid around $200 for each (except Cesium, which was cheaper), I feel like GC Wrath is "worth" more in that I'd be willing to pay more for it than the FT Dibots. But I fully concede I'm probably still in the honeymoon phase with it. I'm not a fan of Bayverse stuff though, so I'm not bias that way. But I agree, $250 is a lot of money for any single toy, so it's got to be worth it for you in order to pull the trigger.

I do think the FT Dibots would be more than slightly higher if they were released today though. Just look at the preorder prices for FT-16M Sovereign. FT-16 was $165 at original release, and now they want $200~230 for it depending on retailer.

That’s exactly what I did! Haha! Freedom Leader was a huge dissapointment, so I sold it and even made a profit, which gave me almost enough to cover the entire cost of this figure. Totally worth it as I’ve gotten way way more enjoyment out of this figure, and even the mini Optimus is great.

Tonton review has mpm11 ratchet out on YouTube. He is listed for 179usd on tfsource.....
I will pay more to some good 3rd party to make a real mpm ratched though......
Just trying to give an idea how bad an mpm figure can be and how expensive they still want from him.....

Just realized that they forgot to squish the pins on the left part of the tail. Any recommendations for that? Also note the pink residue I mentioned earlier
