He's a small voyager with lots of stuff like the buzzsaw hand, etc.

So looking at the fossilizer I am now running with the theory that the Autobots and Decepticons will use them to fight and protect themselves on earth to avoid stasis lock, much like Beast Forms were used in Season 1.

Also, I hope it isn't all dinosaurs. Give me a Mammoth fossilizer!

EDIT: Also... please let all the fossils be the same color so people can create chimeras!

Can’t wait to see the combination someone makes with all the figures that add on to there to make a sort of weapon power up

    Hasbro’s like
“Just got... to get... to the 22nd....
and we can pretend we revealed the new toys... :( “

    Hot Rod’s looking :bay
Hope the chest and flames have more contrast on the actual toy, but I have a feeling this image is just really washed out.

See that’s absolutely the outcome I don’t want. I want a Hot Rod who’s roughly the size of a typical deluxe carbot, maybe a head taller, and a Rodimus Prime who is as tall as ER Optimus. We have a voyager-ish Hot Rod already.

The fact that they're apparently going all-out with this version of Hot Rod makes me wonder if they're sort of using him as an MP stand-in, considering his last MP was sort of compromised, and it might be a ways off until they get the opportunity to do a 2.0/3.0.

I have no idea why HasTak haven't done Voyager/Leader sized modular figures yet. They'd be awesome.

They just view weaponizers/ modulators as an incentive for fans to buy multiple copies of the same toy. They just don't really think that it would sell well for the average consumer. Weird, I know.

I imagine they don't because, unless they turn a desirable character into some kind of modular figure, say a leader Thunderwing or something, it's probably gonna shelfwarm hard. I mean, Shockwave is one of the most popular Decepticons to hardcore fans and we're still drowning in him.

i reckon they should not do the studio series 86 line, just put it all in the mainline WFC. also we need more micromaster stations as voyagers, there are plenty to still be made

You know since we're feeling some 86 fun. I remembered I did pics of my Siege Megatron and Earthrise Optimus for a good ole 1986 fight between the two. Who here is gonna do reenactment shots when the figures come out?

I think that ship has already sailed. Personally I’m fine with it. It will probably give the Studio Series line some extra juice to finish off the remaining bay verse figures. And the the ‘86 movie is a movie after all.

You are probably not getting those Micromasters stations anytime soon though.

Hot Rod looks like he's getting all his colors. If he's a small voyager they went all out. Already im excited for the Rodimus Prime remold. Hope they darken his colors a bit like season 3

This is good filler content plus they can give the Bayverse some breathing room. The question is: Will stores actually carry them?

I'll be completely honest here and say Studio Series has FAR worse distribution then Generations. And its no wonder some of the figures are rarities (*looks at SS-38, Ironhide, and now recently Shockwave) Hell my state hasn't gotten the Spring wave due to the Pandemic. (We weren't under lockdown orders). We're still stuck with Car Shatter and Helikick and sometimes we get some gems from the line

not doing the studio series 86 in the line can lead to them running out of character before the next movie comes around, or if not run out of characters, run out of character that are known
