If these "Fossilizers" are a way to bring the Dinozaurs (remember that show you know what I'm talking about) to the Transformers than why not. That's cool in my books. Now, it would be cool if Hasbro could bring Gobots, but that's a bit of wishful thinking.

That "fossilizer" thing looks like one of the concept sketches from Takara in the 80s and/or a Bandai "Dinozaur"

The Fossilizer looks more like a Tyrannosaurus Rex than a Velociraptor.

It looks like Hot Rod has an actual car interior you can place Daniel inside.

 

TonTon and JonJon probably already have these figures, most of Kingdom wave 1 has been revealed before the toylines official announcement from Hasbro, only Netflix Kingdom has been officially announced

 

Wonder if the Fossilizers come with the mutant masks for the OG Dinobot and Megatron, or at leasts as their heads. I like Megatrons mask cause It looks like Makuta from Bionicle

If that is SS '86 Hot Rod, then I'm sold for sure. He looks pretty good based on that picture. In hand reviews might tell a different story but based on that pic, but I'm cautiously optimistic and if he turns out good, he will be on my buy list for sure.

I am really digging that fossilizer though (pun maybe intended  ). I know some have said Dinozaurs but it's also giving me a "Bone Age" vibe. For those not familiar, Bone Age was a line from the 80s where you can take apart dino skeletons and rebuild them into vehicles with caveman pilots.

As one who has waited a long time for an updated Generations Hot Rod, I say this new figure was well worth the wait!
