Its cause of the animated film anniversary and its a studio/theatrical release so can see why its in SS. Plus theres only so much bay stuff you can do before you have to kill the line.

 

Too bad the accessories aren't pictured.

 

Kinda disappointed that Fossilizer is basically just another flavor of Weaponizer...

But looks good though, definitely will buy some of them.

 

i can name at least two dozen from the Bayverse that still don't have Studio Series release. That's enough for at least a years' worth of product.

 

But its not an anniversary hence why they are doing it.

 

Can the Fossilizers interact with Kingdom Beast Wars figures or they only work with WFC G1 figures?

Do you know the weapons she comes with? How does the robot mode look?

 

Or they can release 1986 animated feature toys for the 35th anniversary and double up on nostalgia sales. SS is usually the only TF merchandise clogging the aisle in my parts of CA. General interest in those designs are weening by the day without a current live action movie either out or coming soon.

 

He doesn't appear to, however his guns look like they can attach there, do potential for another weapons pack or 3rd party to add in an update to make him more authentic.

I wouldn't rule it out, but generally looks to be more a G1 bot thing.

Airazor comes with her forearm missile things which I think may be detachable.

 

so, people won't be interested in stuff based on a series of movies from the past 10+ years but they will be interested in stuff from one movie thirty-five years ago???

 

That's sad to hear. Movie SS was the best. There's a Dino in production, finally. If they scrap that for this 86 lineup I will consider boycotting SS86 figures except for jazz

 

look, im not gonna start the ss86 debate again but to say that bayverse ss is in any way unpopular and is just made up of shelfwarmers is just dumb

Darn. I was hoping for her claw/chicken foot melee weapon and her blade wings instead. Couldn't care less about the little missiles from the show.

They are incorporating them into the line not straight up replacing it.

Plus nostalgia sells its a proven fact ghostbusters bttf etc are selling loads based on their nostalgia
