Springer would be my first pick. Astonishing figure with so much posing potential.

Someone had them for sale on the Kapow Toys Marketplace FB group (and some of the other TF selling groups) today...

Heyup, this arrived from China today, £4.42 shipped from China. How on Earth do they make any money on the sale?

What it is though? It is a robot...

    HAMBURGER.

    20200912_122426.jpg

Yeah the plastics a bit thin so you have to be careful but this thing is fucking hilarious. And as a bonus the instructions are comedy gold as well.

    20200912_122014.jpg

    THE HAMBURG IS READY.

    And of course... burger stack.

Skytread is hardest to get so go for him first (eBay first but check HLJ and BBTS), then Springer (IDT was mentioned recently), Mirage was up recently at Amazon (I ordered one to see if they'd send me Impactor and let me keep it), Crosshairs is often low on stock (maybe Smyths, think mine was Bubble and Squeak)... That lot are probably the hardest to get, so consider a BBTS order for those and anything else that seems cheap from your list if you're gonna be paying shipping and customs. In UK terms Zoom do a bunch of ER stuff and free delivery over £40 I think it is, maybe 30.

    Snapdragon
    Hoist
    Crosshairs
(Although as you said, you own Ironhide so it your shelf might just become “Ironhide” and “the cooler Ironhide”)
    Siege Mirage
(be very careful with the legs, the tabs can break easily like on the transparent mirage)
    Skytread
    Apeface
(He goes well with Snapdragon. You probably have until Christmas to get one, seeing as after that Smyths might just get rid of them)

EDIT: as a few other people said, in terms of time you really ought to get Crosshairs first, there’s not many of them floating around at the moment. He’s a great figure. Mirage is pretty good too, he’s just as hard to find. (Also added in Skytread, he’s cool and a bit rare.)

Out of those, I like skytread the most so I’d be inclined to go for him but we really have been spoilt with WFC as they are all pretty sweet. Springer is excellent but a more challenging transformation. I’ve still not opened astrotrain so can’t pass comment on him yet but if I had to put any at the bottom it would probably be apeface for that obnoxious “head pegging in” business

With space I think so long as it's kept purely TF it's no problem, and they'd always all have separate movies then team-ups (in my head!).

Giving Megs his own movie would absolutely work, and taking Netflix as an example, you can have Ultra Magnus fighting alongside him in the early days. Would certainly give him context before he shows up proper.
    ...

I love the look of that Silk figure, I'll maybe buy it and keep it boxed until they can bring themselves to give her a decent story!

I have taken a massive step back from collecting. The exclusives really annoy me, why not make them easily available instead of having to search or jump on limited numbers. I haven't been able to get some of the figures in the previous lines at a sensible price so haven't bothered.

So yeah, annoyed me so much I have decided to pull my buying much of the toys. Will buy ones that look amazing to transform but not interested in all the different repaints and characters I have no connection with.

Just got new shelves installed and I cannot fit everything in as it is with my Star wars and other toy lines I have.

There are a few things I still want, like fanshobby powerbaser and the apex armour or whatever it is called, but there is not much I will be buying.

Mp toys are boring me with another optimus and seekers when I am happy with the ones that were released already. I would rather they released figures that haven't been done yet.

Also eyeing up @bcm77 metal action phoenix but need to sell some of my stuff before I commit to it.

I also want to buy a retro system from retrocade with all games.

    Ah, first world problems!

Now I'm imagining a Megatron/Ultra Magnus buddy cop movie. Megatron is the rulebreaking renegade and Ultra Magnus is the straight laced by the books sort :lol

As for Silk, looking back on the stories I have read of her, the ones that were more fun are the ones which don't involve Peter Parker. I have no problem with the idea that The Spider bit someone else as well, or even the connection with the Inheritors and Elias or whatever though that's bunk they could easily trim down. I think the bigger issue is how they tied her together with Peter and frankly it was a bit creepy the implication their bodies made them unable to resist each other - ugh I'm feeling dirty just talking about this xD - but yeah back when I still read the Panini comics, they printed a run of her solo comic and stuff about her reconnecting with her family and finding her brother, even ending up working at the Bugle and showing a softer side of Jonah when he found out she had been using Bugle resources for personal reasons to look for her brother he ended up calling some of his contacts to help out. While she had the occasional run-in with Peter by this point it was more traditional team-up.

Hmm I should look that series up. They only printed it up to the part just before Secret Wars because they're forever having to pad Spider-man because it's released twice a month compared to once a month for the other Collector's Editions. Not that I complain when it results in them printing spider-adjacent stories like Spider-Gwen or the hilarious Sinister Foes of Spider-man or whatever it was called. The one where Boomerang puts together a new Sinister Six except there's only five of them. The same series which had the female Beetle in it. To be honest while there's been some great mainline Spidey stories in the past several years I've found myself enjoying these miniseries and such more. One of the factors in why I'm calling it quits with the ongoings.

To quote Emgo, you don't stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing! :D

@Convoy thanks for looking out! I got one off @Siege Fan recently. This is my insurance in case it ever come back in stock and I get a naff box. Saw a loose split set on eBay recently but went for undisclosed amounts.

@Ottertron sorry to hear the woes of the box. Surprised no one here is biting your hand off for it considering we had a few with rubbish boxes.

FYI looking out for boxes in general as I do sew loose figures on eBay that I do not have or weaponises I want to have multiples of. Not limited to but looking for these:

    FlyWheels
    Cog
Sixgun (low priority as have one already)
    Mirage
    Crosshairs
    Spinister
Brunt (also low priority as have one)
    Springer
    Apeface
    Snapdragon

There are more but can’t remembers. FlyWheels and Cog probably the higher priority ones. Just an alternative in case I can’t find boxed in my price range.

BTW USA is getting Siege Leader Class figures at ridiculous prices now at discount stores. Here’s hoping it happens here.

Hoist is £15 at Zoom last I saw.

EightysToys is £5.50 shipping last time I checked.

We have similar lists. Don’t get the rarer stuff first as we are fighting over them! Lol!

Earthrise Hoist, Grapple, Ironworks get on Zoom like @Siege Fan said. £30 free shipping I think. 10% off for NHS workers. TopCashback give 3.4% as well, if you want a referral for bonuses let me know (I think you get £10).

They also have Astrotrain but remember Astrotrain has been shipped in Siege and in Earthrise so I put low priority on him.

    Sound advice from the others!

Super cheap fire station/garage toy from The Range, painted up in metalcote and turned into a sort of robot gazebo. A robogazebo, if you will.

Well I think the Siege/Earthrise Cassettes may have caused me a much greater financial issue... They are so much fun to mess with transforming back and forth, I think I may end up exploring a few of the Beastbox figures... Could be expensive...

    Good morning All.

I've never been one of the Takara-Version-IZ-Superior-Version zealots that take up at least half the complaint space for any/every new release bemoaning the lack of paint aps now, but on this mold I could be accused of that too....... IMG_20200913_111141.jpg

The Car would definitely have benefitted from a TT paintjob - so that I don't have to paint in taillights, rims and exhausts myself.

    Gazrobo?
Reminds me of the likely apocryphal D&D session my mate once told me about that turned out to be a telephone gamed version of 'The Tale of Eric and the Dread Gazebo'
In my friend's retelling the ignorance was expanded to the whole party, the team wizard tried a fireball, and the DM stated "The gazebo has an arrow in it, and is also on fire."
    Good LORD!?!
    And cheers, Dan!
