What’s the name of a good pin removal tool? I suck at customizing and taking things apart and putting them back together, but I’m willing to give this a try.

I used the flat end of a narrow drill bit and a tap hammer, you don’t always need the most specialized tools

Thanks for posting the pics, last pic is the mix and match I was thinking to do, UT's Swindle and Onslaught and rest MMC. Just wondering can the extra MMC Swindle head that came with MMC Brawl fit on UT's Swindle body?

Just got Probus in today! Since I have limited time before I go off to work another closing shift, I skipped bot mode and brought him straight to combined mode. He's gorgeous. The other members were already waiting in combined mode so I didn't have to wait. The joints aren't great, but they aren't as bad as some people are making them out to be. The ab-crunch is a true blessing, I love it. Overall I think they're better in their individual modes, but I will probably be leaving them in combined mode most of the time because Bruticus is so dope.

I've got the same pin'n'mix and tried it, but Fraudo has a ballpeg and UT has a hinge/swivel.

Finally swapped the shoulder out and combined him up. Didn’t worry about popping out the pin, when I looked at the area prior to performing the replacement, I already had a small stress mark next to the pin anyway. Which is something I don’t worry about much. It’s just attached to a panel that weighs nothing, is not load bearing in any way, is not particularly stiff and seems highly unlikely to fail. The stress mark grew a bit from the procedure but not concerned. Probably won’t even take the trouble to try to heat it out.

Very nice in combined mode. No stability or balance issues whatsoever. He has held every pose I’ve tried and I haven’t had to mess with distributing his weight to balance the way one has to with, say, KFC Blitzwing. Although my copy of that from the recent BBTS sale is pretty good and I don’t have to do much of that even with that one.

The new ratchet is perfect for Blast Off, even with the big rifle from the upgrade set all the clicks hold great. They do on the Vortex side too, so nice to know I won’t have to chase down an extra ratchet piece and install it.

Combined mode is fantastic, but I think I prefer their individual bot and alt modes. Which is fine because this is such a well engineered, sturdy set that I enjoy flipping then between all their modes. This one will probably be on my small table of figures I mess with downstairs for a long time.

MMC Assaultus is complete! And oh he's so gorgeous. While his ratchets could be tighter, he has stayed in all of the poses I have put him in. There's a couple of ways where the right shoulder ratchet might succumb to the weight of the gun and Volatus, but not as badly as I thought it would be. I also wish the ankle tilts had a little more range of motion, but they're not terrible. It was mighty fun transforming them all and combining them. Transforming Probus and Volatus were incredibly fun and had very little frustrations. I'm very pleased overall.

i did similar but used thin strips of credit card. those central posts that the springs slide over have a wider gap on 2 sides of the post. i just put 2 strips stacked on either side and those ratchets are solid as a rock now, maybe too solid. i may go back and test with i credit card thickness strip so i don't grind out those teeth. it just raises up the spring slightly enough to really make them sturdy.

Bruticus is LEGIT! My new favorite MP style combiner. THE ONLY problem with the set besides the combiner shoulder ratchet is that I love all three modes! ugh.... I'll be switching this one from bot to vehicle to combiner often.

    Good job MMC!

That’s the hard part...all the modes are so good that whichever one they’re in, I want to see the other two.

Anyone prefer the toon head and chest over the toy accurate version?

I've always wanted a toon accurate Bruticus but I just don't think it translates well.
