This looks great. The J20 is a cool design and the bot mode looks awesome. Really cool how there’s minimal bot kibble in jet mode.

 

This has a better bot mode that the stupid top gun one from has/tak

 

Can’t wait for this. I wonder if the normal transformer online retailers like Showz or the chosen prime will get this

 

I know in the other thread they mentioned the jet mode was 25cm long (shy of 10"). Do we know how tall the robot mode is yet?

I'm a classics collector first, if I can be. Legends has taken a lot of that spot lately, but I'm always pining for that original classics sized.

This figure is an odd in-between. Too short for MP. A bit too tall for classics. This is certainly in a size range all its own, without concern with fitting into any size-based collection. It's definitely cool, and depending on price I might pick one up.

Because...it can JUST barely fit into a classics collection. Depending how you've built it up.

Cool colors and jet mode. Bot mode is a little bland IMO. Is this a Macross or Gundam mech?

 

Wow this got cleaned up a lot. Impressive that the only visible robokibble is just under the fuselage and doesn’t stick out too much.

Anyone familiar with the comic know if any other PLAAF jets show up with robot modes, like the J-10 or J-11?

 

Main personal issue with airplanes Alt mode is that they have never been so clean as this one. Interesting up to now. Let's see what will happen.

 

Just flipped through the comic. The J-10 makes a cameo but IIRC, doesn’t transform. Surprised the toy doesn’t have the sword that the J-20 used.

I hope someday someone could produce G1 stylised MP TF figures based on modern military/civilian equipments. I REALLY want SS/TC/SW based on F22 and Coneheads based on J20. Blizwing could be Russian T-14 Amarta tank and Su-57 jet. Megatron could be either B-2 bomber or M1A2 tank, Soundwave could be B-47 UAV or Anjian/Shadow Sword UAV, Shockwave could be the BAE stealth tank prototype.
