Just as Tony Hawk also had a few spills. Still the best Skateboarder that ever lived.

Fair enough. But it very much is a bad percentage when your a toy company with the reputation that you're perfect. ;)

First off, we r starting to get off topic so we should stop this at some point. And you're right, that was a comparison pic, but that wasn't the point. The point was the lack luster articulation. And the point about quality control is that fanstoys sucks at it. Its one thing to have some qc issues, its another to have a full leg fall off. And yes I'm aware that foc mefs leg does fall off, and im not giving them a pass for that. The problem is the questionable quality of ft in general. And they're not like takara, they're running smaller runs that the runs that takara is running. You're paying for the quality. Like how their triple changers are going to be going for 160.

And yeah, the sculpts are improving never said anything about it. Just price, articulation and qc. In the end it was mostly a joke.

Anyway, back on topic, planet x, anyone wondering if shcokwaves using a ball joint or a swivel?

    @Duke spino -

The point of my post was to post facts. Not to upset you - I also made extra sure I was careful with my words in my reply not to incite or flame; and you seem to have taken it rather personally.

You can mention your **opinion** all you want about their QC “sucking,” but again facts say you are in the wrong. It’s not a debate at this point.

I have had **zero** issues with any of my FT figures. Just like I have had **zero* issues with the fragile Hound Takara released.

We’re really also not all that off topic; we are riscussing the *quality* of transformers in a TF thread.

Shit happens. QC happens. And whether you like it or not, FT will always be “king.”

I’m pretty much done talking about this. If you have any actual facts to bring up, I’ll gladly read and reply. Maybe.

I think you're probably right. I just find it interesting. It makes me wonder how this guy will get priced.

Also I have no idea why my post got deleted.....

Yeah, it's interesting for sure. I'm thinking he'll be around $70, a little less than Ironhide/Ratchet since he doesn't seem as bulky.

That isn't "facts that prove him wrong", though. Just because you had good luck doesn't mean everyone else's experiences were the same. He seems to be going off of reported problems by others, whereas you seem to think your experiences are universal.

No i get that. Just responding. Anyway, agree to disagree on qc on ft.

So people are guessing 70 for shockwave? Great! Its cheaper than other shockwaves on the market. And before someone replies its a voyager, just gonna say i don't care about scale. Just fun manageable toys. And shockwaves looking great. Hoping he don't pull a megatron though

If Shockwave is around the $70 - $80 mark, I'll consider picking it up.

I don't think anyone thinks FT's reputation is "perfect" but I do think there's a difference between statistical quality and reputational quality.
For example: a bunch of years ago some of my friends and I discovered a fun karaoke game for Playstation, I believe. The first night we played it, one of my buddies took the mic and absolutely rocked out - he clearly wasn't aiming for high scores, though he still ended up with some of the highest of the night. But his achievement was his performance - dude killed it. Stage presence, everything. It was the talk of the next day or so.
One of my other buddies who has always been more geared to hard and fast metrics and stats, who didn't do quite as well, proceeded to spend the rest of the week practicing like, EVERY day, memorizing the songs and figuring out how to sing them to get the highest possible score. By the end of the week, when we all played, he very satisfyingly scored the top score, though his performance was decidedly lackluster. Statistically, he was fantastic, but neither I nor any of our friends would ever say he laid down a killer performance. It wasn't memorable ... Hell, it wasn't even enjoyable. It was like watching someone read a schematic set to music.
Point is, reputations aren't based on numbers alone; it's a mix of subjective and objective.

It's difficult to do, but you can get one LED into Megatron's cannon.

Wait till you try handling Apocalypse and/or Pluto :lol

I'll take the transforming game accurate figure over the non-transforming maybe IDW/maybe g1 version.

FINALLY, HE'S BEEN MADE! I have been waiting AGES hoping they'make a FOC Shockwave toy since the Generations Shockwave is too thin in the legs for me. I just hope we can attach the large gun to the left arm since game accuracy dictates it is his left arm that had to be replaced with the gun.

Up for preorder at BBTS. $95 price is a bit more than I was hoping for to be honest. I like Planet X figures but their tolerances and plastic quality are a small step down from MMC Reformatted (in my experience) so I'm unsure I'm going to preorder at this price. It sure looks good though.

They might be basing their next release on that poll that Shockwave was on? I don't know whether Jazz or Bumblebee was the runner-up, but I would prefer they do Jazz first over Bumblebee. Honestly though, I would love a WFC Megatron from them.
