I can afford an $80 Commander, not a $200 3rd party figure.

 

It's existence is a possible contributing factor in getting Beast Wars in Kingdom, so not much of a monkey paw if you ask me

 

The problem is his beast mode is barely a half thought too. I used to own OpOp, twice actually (first was as a kid, second was for a custom), and I even held him again about a year ago because a friend had him.

The beast mode was literally the robot mode squatting down and the upper torso reversed and inverted. But his limbs barely change.

I'm not the biggest fan of transmetals in general but at least most of them had solid beast modes.

 

Agreed. It looks nice. But based on reviews, you'd be better off witha commander one. At least it wouldn't have perfect effects limitations

Then they could change it. If it is as half assed as you say, then they could build upon and improve it. I mean, this is generations. It doesnt have to be the same, iron factory proves that primal can look good in the modern day, it just needs some updates

 

That $80 Commander doesn't exist though and probably won't   so you have to work with that's realistic

Apollux has said that Kingdom Magnus is a retool of the Siege figure, with most of the retooling dedicated to making the cab more Earth-y and the robot mode more toon accurate.

 

I wanna say back in april, or it couldve been phamduc but one of them said we're getting a white er prime and then they later said we're getting a dead prime (this was before the leaked pics)

 

He didn’t, phamduc mentioned it out of the blue in a different thread months back.

I always thought of the Transmetal vehicle modes like Tracks and the Omnibots extra modes. Man I want some new Omnibots... I could make Tracks their leader.

 

To be fair though, with all the repaints we're getting of ER Prime, it wouldn't be surprising to also see a white repaint, in addition to kingdom Magnus.
