Well we don't know yet what that will be. The box says Deluxe class, Prime Breakdown was Voyager, etc. But I don't want to derail this thread too much, lots of buzzing in that news thread:

something that was considered too expensive for the Voyager class a decade ago would not be sold at Deluxe class price today, even factoring a Selects/exclusive markup.

Are you saying that you don't think the 10th anniversary release will be the Voyager? I mean the image of the box says "Deluxe Class" on it. Anyway...

Wasn't Breakdown too light to be considered a voyager but too heavy to be considered deluxe since Hasbro does it primarly by weight and not by actual siz.

 

He arrived and he's glorious, nothing loose on line, the eyes are symmetrical. Such a massive upgrade over the voyager, and I love that he's actually matte silver, not chromed like the Japanese edition.

Just over question - I transformed him to jet mode and back and can't remember now - is there any way to lock the rotating roof of the jet in robot mode in place? Only way I found so far is to push the outer sides of the parts where his shoulder blades should be outward, which holds the jet roof in place, but makes his sides look slightly worse.

As far as I know, there's no way to tab in his roof in robot mode.

Yeah, my DM's shoulder is going down the same road, even after I've tried to fix it. Anyone successfully get that thing retightened?

 

I applied 1 or 2 coats of clear nail vanish onto mine and all I did was leave it to dry for a day and then rotate it to set it in

My Prime 2.0 shipped from baba. Glad I ordered early too, got it for around $39 and now it's $54.78!

This is still one of my favorite Voyager-class Optimus Prime molds, even now after all these years, so I'm pretty excited to get this in hand.

I wonder if the fact that his eyes are sometimes a bit derpy stems from his painted eyes not being the original idea. The entire part the head rests on is made of transparent purple plastic, connecting with the same plastic in the head, and that part also has a battery door held by two tiny screws and a hole for a button / switch.

Haven't had the chance to play around and transforming him yet.
Gonna have to distract the Wifey first     
But, so far it's solid...tight joints (probably because it's new   )
The scale is just nice in my opinion.
