Not really, I am trying to fix it by reinforcing the areas where it failed so I can maybe post a fix for it.

Sorry for the stupid question. But how do I access the battery compartment?

There are no stupid questions but there are stupid answers ... The back part of the backpack is a screw and the battery compartiment.

Shouldn't the first post be updated with this being a qc pos that shouldn't be bought? At 100 bucks they are crazy as fuck asking it for this.

I hope there will be a ko out soon which actually improves everything and for a cheaper price than this ko. Preferably with less accessories and no sound bs.

Thats nonsense, at $100 its the cost of two people going out to eat at a inexpensive restaurant, I dont know what YOU expect for $100 but I would suggest your expectations are disconnected from reality.

The engineering requires parts to be of a particular tolerance and material, Takara didnt even get this right on either MP-44 or MP-47 so expecting a KO which will certainly not have anything like a QC department like Takara to do as good or better than Takara on a first run is farcical.

On things like ratchet premature wearing I already said contact Show.Z, they clearly are able to connect with the company concerned and feedback that the material is inappropriate which can be resolved with something as simple as loading different granules into the injector then they could run off 1000s, send out replacements to those who request them and have v2 doing a lot better.

@God Orion really, you should reach out to Show.Z and suggest this, its in everyones benefit, the manufacturer, the vendor and the customer

Some people are having the wrong mindset in all this, you want perfection buy the real thing and prepare for disappointment because you wont get it there anyway. God Orion had the right approach but came across something that kicked him in the nuts and demoralized him, but its still a fixable issue, its a matter of find the best approach.

    Hey,

So I focused on bending the thigh/top bend first, putting pressure against the knee cap to prevent the bottom joint from moving, and after some praying, I was able to get the full bend to work properly. Hope you dont break yours trying!

A bit more touching up tonight.....

    9DF3DEAB-4FEB-401C-A0F4-E24E37655C3A.jpeg

OP looking like a hunched over old man. Some silicone oil into jointed/ratcheted areas - particularly good result in the sticky right knee.

Some nail varnish on both the rifle handle and in the gap in the hand. Also, I shaved too much off the rear tab that is prone to breakage, so have added some nail varnish to try and tighten it up a little.

Now I have to decide to go for the Molotow pen recommended by @NSJ23 or the Gundam from the fantastic @God Orion for the eyes.

the only reason i didn't use the gundam marker is because where i ordered had sold out and i was being impatient and took what they had in stock. I did like how it turned out but both look great to me. ;)

I've got this figure for 2 weeks now, and even with all the "issues" this figure has, I love it. The only thing I did was loosen the screw for the ab crunch and paint the eyes. I haven't even transformed him yet. I'm going to try and fix him with @God Orion 's pdf but I'm seriously thinking of never even transforming him after. I have a TE-01 on it's way and it will be the figure for playing around with. MP-44 ko will be my posing figure and it's astethics are awesome!

If anyone is looking for alternative paint options for the eyes, I had this bottle of craft paint from Wal-Mart kicking around. Does a decent job.

It has made me depressed yeah. But I am trying to fight against myself and make it work. I am contacting the 3D printing company on my way back from work and will tell you how it's going.

Also, I contacted ShowZ and got absolutely no answer...

I think it was @Optimus Dime who advertised Gundam Marker. Credits go to him.

Just got my MP44 and I can't say it's the best KO I've ever bought !!
Most of the panels don't stay in and the knee kinda feels soft and hard at the same time..
Will definately take apart the knees over the weekend and glue the ratchet together.
Really see how people say the plastic feels cheap !!

But I just wanna ask, if there a fix for the chest ??
My windows don't seem to want to sit flush or together properly ??
Was there a fix or something with the transformation that's wrong ??
I haven't done anything to it, I've literally just taken it out if it's package and checking it out !!
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks !!
