I'm definitely on board. Any chance we could see his alt mode next to the old FOC Sideswipe?

Picked up this guy this evening and Holy moly some of the joints on my copy are SUPER tight. Like scary tight. Particularly his elbows and knees. Definitely going to need to loosen those up a bit

I recently picked up Siege Crosshairs to go with his Targetmaster from the Netflix Megatron set, and I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with his stock Hammer/Gun weapon since it doesn’t fit well on his vehicle mode with the TM weapon. After playing with Cliffy today I think it’s a pretty good fit for him. The colors aren’t too far off, and the dimensions look good with his smaller stature.

That's an inspired pick, the siege greebling even helps it blend better than your typical G1 generations accessory

I love this figure. Looks great in both modes, fun to transform, great articulation. Looking forward to a Bumblebee version of this mold.

How does he look in both modes next to some siege guys? A side of me wants to buy this and try to modify the earthrise head to fit this body.

I was thinking the same as previous post, FOC Sideswipe could be used a stand-in the alt mode.

Got this guy today, the outer panels on his legs dont peg in, the inner panels on his legs dont either. And the amount of clear plastic worries me.

Hasbro in general has been using way to much clear plastic as of late and the longevity of it worries me

Got this guy today from amazon. To me, Cliff is a big meh. He's sort of an example of the bottom-of-the-barrel of studio series, and exemplifies some of the worst aspects of the line: nothing stays tabbed in, the backpack is huge, the paint is minimal, there are faux parts when they weren't necessary, and everything good about him came from another figure (jeep bee). Some of those things are forgivable on a better figure, but not all at once, and not on a character who barely did anything. Not too much of a disappointment though since I wasn't expecting much, and studio series has been so good for so long I can forgive the line a few duds. The alt mode does look pretty cool in pics (haven't transformed mine yet).

I have pretty much the same thoughts. I'm not mad that I got him, but he's just meh all over. Also, I did transform him once, and it was a pain in the butt.

EDIT: I feel like I'd probably skip the inevitable Bumblebee repaint of this mold. I have 2 Bee movie Bees already, I don't think I need any more than that (considering there are potentially 4, if you include Old Camaro Bee from the end).

Transformation was annoying, but the alt mode I think is the better of the two modes. A bit boring but mine holds together OK and looks sleek.

Just got mine in via Amazon as well. Just writing down my thoughts as I go along. Robot mode legs don't tab together properly, head can't look down and it's constantly looking slightly upwards, and another problem I don't see others mentioning is the arguably worse weapon storage in vehicle mode. Instead of BBs gun locking the back legs together, this time it's pegged into the underside of the vehicles roof (robot modes back kibble), but it just doesn't stay pegged in. Another major concern is all the clear plastic, but most importantly how scary-tight the chest halves are. At first transformation I was sure I was doing it wrong, but it tfs the same way as BB. Mine is already starting to weaken and showing stress marks. One more concern I'd like to address is the lack of ankle movement, as compared to BB. There's zero ankle tilt. Overall, if you're still on the fence about this figure, I'd skip it. I'm still awaiting Earthrise CJ and I'm hoping it's a better CJ figure. I'd definitely say the BB figure does this mold better.

Hasbro is using more and more clear plastic as of late and i question its extended longevity

Ya know, I was just going through my old figures I have boxed up, and I came across my Universe Prowl deluxe figure. The roof has yellowed considerably, just being in a closed box for like what 6-8 years? I know that's still kinda old, but it just shows it won't last forever.

Picked this guy up the other day wanting to love him. I really like Cliffjumper, I like his design in Bumblebee, and he's based on fantastic figure. But I think this...
...unfortunately sums up the figure for me. Certain parts were kinda easy to fix with a dremel like the head and inner leg panels (not that I should have to do so), and I can live with the backpack. But those outer leg panels just don't work, and overall it feels like all of the new Cliffjumper parts are dragging down the excellent aspects he inherited from Bumblebee. To the point where I have to wonder if he was originally gonna get his own mold, but they decided to put some of the parts they designed onto the Bumblebee frame to save some cash.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate him, but the best thing about him is that he reminds me of just how fantastic Offroad Bee is by comparison.

Super tight joints with super loose leg panels make for a frustrating figure.

I’ll say the same thing with Cliffy here that I said about Off-road Bee: it would benefit from being larger.
