It isn't a bad figure; it actually is a fun toy to pose. I just make a habit of selling a few things every couple of months to free up space to prevent over crowding. Not that Shredder is taking up that much space but my shelves are looking rough lol.

It's an arcade dio they used to display the arcade TMNT at one of the cons, not sure which con it was I'd have to Google it again

I will make a few changes once that toon dio shows up, it'll go where the current concert Revo Turtles are. i plan to float the concert over the Arcade Turtles and move the all the toon to that dio, also decided to look into getting a brick wall for the comic Turtles. I'm tempted to just grab the Dios off BBTS they have pop-up subway amd sewer sets, idk though we'll see like i said WIP. Update bought some plastic bathroom stackable shelves (2x) to make a slight change Also since no one figured out the Karai base.....
yeah I am betting they're betting on people buying a couple of those for their displays... 30 characters on one doesn't give you a lot of room to do anything but stand them there
yeah this will be boss amd maybe necks are supposed to be long I'll be painting and modding this up tomorrow, already looking for Foot logo stickers for the bike, hey the TMNT got a 4wheeler fair is fair lol
If you could shave that neck down, or maybe cut a section out between the collar and the neck ball i bet it would look better. She doesn't look bad but her head is resting very high. Not sure there is enough in the top of the head to dig some out and sink it further but even if there is you'll lose some articulation.
i haven't jumped into molding yet, not sure i'd be that good, maybe after i feel that my painting is better first
Nothing new at the NECA online store for this week? Thought I had a solid lead on the movie turtle 2 packs. One of the local Wally Worlds had scheduled 2 listings arriving soon. Twice it was changed in the past week. The last time I asked around, the kid there said "hey you can order these online, you know". Man, if it were only that easy. At least my facemask hid the scowl I was carrying on the way out, lol.
Don't be mad with me, but I skipped the cartoon display! I might regret it later, but it just wasn't doing enough for me at that price. Much rather put that money towards the next few cartoon figures!
I found a shredder krang set today for a board member. Gonna move the trooper to someone also (see joe thread) but I went to five below and found these other turtles. I dont know what set they are or whatever but for $5 each so $20 for the team I thought they were neat enough to grab.
Man, you are helping people left and right! Those Turtles are lots of fun and well worth the $5 each. Ollie’s had a slew of figures from that series a couple years ago and I picked up a good few of them.
That is kind of how my collecting mentality is. We are supposed to enjoy the hobby together. Not much enjoyment if I have the luck finding it all and hoarding. For me part of the fun is helping others to also have an enjoyable time. Then if we all get some cool toys the board also thrives with people enjoying them. Kind of a win win.
I agree. Things have gotten crazy around here with all of the product drops, frantic hunting, scalper bots, instant sell outs, etc. the past couple months. This kind of positivity was much-needed. So...what can we help YOU find?
Actually I had a major expense this month (ac unit decided to not work) so my own collection is on hiatus outside of small purchases. Most of my stuff I really want is older though so I generally turn to ebay.
