Got Probus today, and you have to give the guns a good firm press to get them to tab in for leg mode. Or they just fall out.

 

Any parts coming from MMC factory will take between 5-6 weeks due to slow overseas shipping from their factory. So if anyone bought another shoulder joint they probably won't get it until mid next month.

The hip and knee ratchets did look floppy on Paik's copy as well. I guess he is not part of the "in" team.

 

I use this tool to remove the pin.

 

So I was messing around with the new hiding place for Vortex's handgun and made a related discovery. When you press in the gun through the corresponding slots, the lower tab sticks out the other side - due to being a few mm longer. I straight away thought this would foul on the olive Incursus's cannon base when its pressed against it. But no, the creative genius's at MMC have even allowed for this too. Because right where it would contact they've placed an addition slot to allow everything to sit flush. See @mikeszekely pic - plainly visible! Totally brilliant work MMC!!!

 

Cool, I couldn't get in from the bottom I knocked it down from the top, but I'd tried the not removing pin thing from a few pages back on the volatus side first which caused the damage but moved the pin on incursus side without the damage I caused to the other side.

Oh and I can't remember if I saw the post about not liking the visible shoulder sockets on here or face book but I came up with an option if you don't need a lot of upper movement from the shoulders, I moved the cab section from the back to the top. Its an idea for those who feel it needs it?

 

Having them all together is truely a euphoric experience, one that I know many of you have experienced or will experience when putting the team together. It truely is satisfying to see them all ready to go, eaches own personality coming through in strides. Magnificently unified in their styling with just the right amount of surface detail across the board to come across as being appropriate to eaches alt mode yet without being overly busy or bland on either side of that spectrum, and I haven't even combined them yet. So very happy with this set and it doesn't even have anything to do with the nitrous oxide tanker that crashed nearby.
Stoked to combine, but not yet, still more individual mode fun to be had. Gunna take them all into alt mode after and see how rad they will look all attacking in vehicle modes.

Oh and I almost forgot, it feels so good looking at them and knowing there is literally nothing else needed for them to combine. Truely a manifestation of what we saw on screen all that time ago. This combiner currently sits at the forefront of that journey, but I do hope that journey continues.

 

I 100% felt that today. I did the opposite though, I did combined mode real quick and enjoyed my excitement for that for the night and then returned them to robot mode where they will stay. There’s no way I have room for them in robot mode anyways.

 

Ah so you don't have room for the combined mode you mean?
I generally need more space on the shelf horizontally vs. vertically (truth be told I need more space period) but combined mode has a smaller footprint so if I can utilize a taller space, I usually keep gestalts combined.  

 

Honestly my biggest complaint about Assaultus is how easy it is to slide Incursus' kneepads out of alignment :v

 

Yes I meant combined mode haha. Long day at work covering two other employees who aren’t there for a few days or more   And I hear ya on the space! I’m thinking maybe another shelf is in order next year.

Yeah you really need to think about the whole line being scramble if you do it. Scramble is cool, but you need to do things a certain way to be sure.

Yeah that was a while back. I guess it suits those who are only leaving their Bruticus standing straight. The intention is to expose the joint obviously, but probably not everyone will like that.

Defensor's name in China is the "Guardian God", some auto-translate uses Patron Saint which is seems a case of 'close enough'. WeiJiang's own KO OS of Combiner Wars Defensor also uses Patron Saint.

 

So kinda like how Hercules is the Chinese name for Devastator and yet the 3P one used that name. Funky.
