i talked to Fenrys about this and we all know when asked when Earthrise Prime was revealed why his colors were what they were. Warden said some parts are shared with the trailer and that’s why his biceps are colored that way and parts of the legs. Other and myself said “okay that’s fine. Whatever” with nemesis, Netflix optimus and SG I think we can probably conclude that John wasn’t being totally honest and he just blurted that out to avoid the issue. I’m not trying to be negative to warden I think he’s a great guy but I think we can conclude by now that the trailer doesn’t share parts with optomus and they’re both separate molds.

either that or they retooled both to separate their shared molding parts

But wouldnt the Galvatron mold be better as SG Galvatron ? (Which does exist)

I think SG deserves an overhaul since Hasbro doesnt have to follow the mold restrictions it imposed on Funpub. SG Megatron should have been the Nerf Gun mold back in the day. And the only reason SG Galvatron was a helicopter in G1 Galvatron colors was because it was meant to be a stand in for CHUG collectors who wanted a voyager Galvatron. (similar to SG Jazz and Octopunch being G1 colors to have appeal to non-SG fans as CHUG stand-ins)

Hasbro has a chance to right a bunch of wrongs and do something that was probably what Brian Savage would have wanted but couldnt get the clearances to do. I would support that. And it just might happen. Notice they could have turned the Ratchet mold into that wacky Soundwave, but they didnt. They are probably going for the G1 body which is superior.

 

LOL, I don’t even want to think about how much I have tied up in Preorders right now. And I haven’t even gotten that crazy with stuff. (Aside from Omega Supreme reissue)

and despite being disappointed in this reveal they Did pretty good with this TF Tuesdays promotion (plus bonus G2 Friday) I think I’m getting them all besides Bugbite, G2 Megs and this set. It was fun to stretch it out and get a weekly reveal, added something to look forward too during the blursdays of working from home.

 

If they redeco that rumored galvatron, he needs to be in toy colors.
