Why would you want it on the left the entire point of it is to provide sturdy support for the heavier right arm.

Stuff like that gun storage goes omitted in toy instructions all the time. It's not some rarity or bizarre circumstance really, simple common omission nothing more. Not everything makes its way to insturction sheets even if its really important the factory making those sheets might still mess something up. With 3p toys its particularly bad and has been a running issue for many years now.

It's why its good we live in an age of internet and videos so these things can be learned about and the information shared more easily.

So how necessary is that new shoulder piece? I'm not super up to the reason why it's coming with it. Just for extra stability?

 

Depends on your particular piece honestly, some have gotten figures with better joints and some haven't but that's the nature of production. Mileage may vary!

Why would I want a stronger ratchet for the left arm too?? Obviously to provide a stronger connection point for posing! Especially if I wanted to put the upgrade rifle in Assaultus right hand and the olive rifle in the left hand. Even if there's a cost involved I'd be happy to pay for this - as others would consider too I think.

 

The shoulder joints are identical. That is why the little release lever points different directions on each side.

MMC told me that I could purchase an additional shoulder for $10 shipping. I'm not sure how long it takes since they put in a factory order for it.

 

There's only one new ratchet. The right arm demands it much more than the left given Volatus was a fair bit more precarious with the old one than Impetus was because he weighs more. My Assaultus can wield both rifles just fine now too I just had him holding both arms out, no problem. He's tonnes o fun to pose.

The replacement ratchet can be applied to the left but as I said the existing one is intended for the right you'll have to ask mmc for a second.

 

Hi there, not sure why you’re getting so much flack! Reasonable question, yes I think you can put them on either side as they are identical from what I can see.

The lesson here is if you are affiliated with MMC, your copy will be perfect. Not affiliated? Tough luck.

 

My since sold second copy of Onslaught with horrible levels of paint chipping 100% agrees.

 

I contacted MMC about the knee and hip ratchets and they've replied with:

"I’ll report the issue that your having to the factory but currently there is no solution to the problem that your having with your figure in regards to the hips and knee."

Not really sure what to make of that. I'll report back if the factory comes back with anything. Don't know if it would be helpful if others who are having issues also contacted them? The shop I bought it from seemed to think it would help to at least demonstrate it's not just me with a problem...

 

Hi folks, I've made a review of the full combined mode if anyone's interested in taking a look:

 

I didn't order a shoulder ratchet, but I did have to replace one of my leg windows on Impetus. They told me it would be 5-6 weeks and I got the piece in 3 which was great. I'll be more than likely ordering a second shoulder piece also.

 

Feeling the same pain. I paid my invoice over a week ago now, just waiting to get that wonderful shipped email.
