I grabbed all of the new Studio Series Deluxes and Voyagers from Target Reston leaving them with one Blitzwing and One Soundwave. Burke Target has one MPM-10 Starscream if anyone still needs one. Target Manassas West, Gainesville, Fair Lakes, and Chantilly all have the new Studio Series stuff but they are fully on the street date puckered butthole streak. No sign of the new Earthrise figures yet. I did find (and bought) two of the Cobra Island Baroness sets at Target Gainesville; they were just sitting on the shelf.

 

I doubt it, I live 5 mins from that Target and have been going in every day between 9-10 looking for Joes. Last I saw they had a CJ and that base guy. They did just have an inventory yesterday (I saw the RGIS tags) so perhaps the 8 were "lost" and the inventory corrected it.

 

Ah, yeah that Target was pretty barren of deluxes last time I checked. Here's hoping the restock is soon.

 

So looks like wave 2 is starting to trickle in. Probably this time next month shouldn't be any problems finding a stinking airwave. I passed on scorponok in favor of skylinx. Freeing my budget up for a deluxe or two or a scalper price slitherfang.

 

I'm betting it's been slow seeing any because of the holiday. Once tuesday hits I bet we'll start seeing some bites.

 

Out of 4 deluxe earthrise for wave 2 That I preordered only Arcee has shipped. I just got notified yesterday evening

RVA, the quest for wave 2 deluxes:

Last time I noticed (a week or two ago) they had a hoist, CJ, and the base guy on the pegs. As we noted a few days ago, they went to 0 for a few days then back up to 8 today. I went in at 8 and they still had the same hoist and base guy. The main toy stocker was in the aisle and offered help (we've talked about collecting before) and he scanned the tag, they had "3" on the shelf and 5 in the back, I assume they are more old stock and the inventory was messed up (they just did an inventory the day the qty changed in popfinder) and its more of the old case in the back. He said he'd pull them later and put them on the shelves.

He did see another case "on order" that theoretically is coming in on/around 9/23, so we'll see.

 

Gosh dangit, I was so excited to see that 8 show up. Oh well, saved me a failed hunt I guess.

Lucky Pennsylvanians getting Wave 2. We're literally on the same side of the country just a little bit below them but whatever god of transport watches over the trucks has decided we need to wait even longer.

Hey Benjamin, I know this is sort of off topic, but have you found Baroness at all in Richmond? I live out of the country, and I’ve been trying to send my folks in Richmond to look for her, but today after seeing some at Short Pump on Popfindr & calling ahead to confirm they were showing up on inventory... nothing. Such BS...
