Im selling off my Hasbro Volcanicus, all minty and carded if anyone is interested. Lol. The more I look at these Takaratomy offerings with their vibrant colours, these Generations selects Dinobots seem more desirable. Darnit.

Well, the way I see this release, is as if they are defiant and giving Hasbro the BIG F U for not allowing Takaratomy to release their shiny, souped up version of Volcanicus way back during the POTP line.

Or maybe they didn't have enough funds to commit for that particular time? It's cheaper to just slap in a JP font decal over adding new paint apps and extra Tragetmasters the way they did in Legends.

 

Yeah. We already established that just releasing the same as Hasbro allows them to save money for stuff like Piranacon, Super Megatron, etc.

And I honestly prefer they go all out on Selects rather than the mainline stuff.

There's an old saying "Clothes do make a man" So, a little paint job and extra accessories make this ulala! Would they be packaged as like Unite Warriors or like the seacons? I hope the former.

Why can't you just be happy that you're getting this subpar, cheap and easy offering from Takara-Tomy, and just be happy about it? Why be so negative and antagonistic with others because of it?

It’s worth noting that there would be no Transformers without Hasbro. It took both to create the franchise.

The deco is so much better than the original set. I’m passing because I don’t collect Dinobots. But if I did, this set would be an easy pick up based on the improvements. Here’s to hoping Abominus gets the same treatment because I will absolutely pick that one up.
