Okay, so the time has come to sort out the mountain of boxes I've accumulated over the years, as the pile is now bigger than my detolfs themselves, and I just can't justify the space they're taking up in the garage. The question is, are there any worth keeping or selling? When I talk about keeping them, I'm talking less about resale value of the figure itself and more where the box is almost a work of art itself in terms of design... for example, Generation Toy. And when I talk about selling them, I'm wondering if there are any boxes which have value by themselves. I often see people selling empty 3P boxes, particularly FT, and they seem to be asking silly money (relatively speaking) for an empty box, but I have no idea if these ever sell. does anyone have any experience here? Anything that doesn't fall into these two categories will be recycled, but I may cut out any nice pieces of art first. So, I have figures from the following brands. With KO's I throw away plastic clam shells and flatten the boxes for max storage. Official TT and 3P boxes I keep everything and store the boxes in plastic tubs in a small storage building. Currently have a few boxes in my office/"man cave" closet. No recommendations for non-MP TF, I do not keep up with them, including resell values. I have no plans of reselling, but life is always changing, and lived long enough to sell things I planned on keeping, so there's that.

All that shit hits the recycler. Even if I had a bigger place, I don't have room to keep boxes for everything and don't want to hang onto boxes just to try selling them to the handfuls of people that are interested in packaging.

They're rubbish. They held the toy on the way to you, and now that you've taken it out and played with it, there is no further purpose for the boxes, except perhaps as compost or recycled paper.
I think the response is crystal clear. Nevertheless I still continue to see "smart" people on ebay who really cares for used stuff with original 3p box
