the fact that smyths has had the same as well i think shows that smokey solo is actually wave 1, and the others we were thinking of as w1 are actually w2 or maybe 1.5??

 

Smyths are getting the Quint Judge in in dribs and drabs. I've been checking for my online order, and checking stores for the hell of it.

Milton Keynes had 2 in stock on Friday night or Saturday morning. Another handful have stock this morning, although at least one of them only has a single figure in stock.

 

No Smokescreen makes his mixed case debut in the w2 mixed cases.

The solid cases have been appearing at Kapow/IDT slightly staggered intervals ever since Hasbro UK started doing them meaning those of us who ordered sets have to wait till the last one shows up!

I can't recall if Smyths got Solid deluxe cases before, I know they have for Voyagers and Leaders earlier in the year and indeed Snapdragon may be a solid too - are Smyths suddenly getting more Starscreams too?

Smokescreen slightly early might be somehow tied to his Japanese retail release happening first??

I have one arriving from Kapow as well lol. I don’t mind having lots of Quints though, I’ve waited some time to get some as have we all.

 

I'm interested in the Quintesson Judge, but would rather grab it from the Pit of Judgement boxset, prefer the deco and only have space for 1 Quint. Correct me if I've missed something but we still have no idea what's going on with that boxset right? Last I heard ID (I think) said they're trying to source some?

Looking forward to and will keep checking for Smokescreen becoming available in the Warrington Smyths, though not a fan of his headsculpt

 

Yeah, I'm avidly paying attention here for Pit news. I've got 2 regular Judges and Allicons on order and want the pit too. Currently got dx9 dinobots and mft Kup, Hot Rod and 2x Sharkies on the way from China. I plan to build something if the current Pit can't accommodate it all in a sensibleway, but will figure that out when the time comes!

 

It's almost certainly dropping on Hasbro Pulse during the Online Pulse Hascon Event towards the end of this month, and there are indications it may be exclusive to one UK Etailer (ID have said they will/will try to get it in, and Kapow have stated that there is one TF item dropping at Hascon that they already know they definitely will be unable to stock - though it's not 100% that it's the Quint Pit as yet).

 

It does point towards that outcome, but until it's confirmed I'm keeping my eyes peeled! For all we know it's a different figure that is not coming to Kapow or any other UK site, but the indicators currently suggest ID wanted it and got it. We'll see, I suppose.

On that note...is the online Hasbro thing the launch of the listed figures? I assume there's no point making them available on Pulse and then doing the event a week afterwards... and I also assume that Pulse will launch it first worldwide, and then international sales will go live after that?

 

Hasbro are very home-market centric, so it's entirely possible that the Hascon debut figures will go on sale on Pulse for US-based fans on whichever day they are presented on, whilst global Non-US fans like us will have to wait and see what exactly the worldwide trickle down of availability/distribution will be.

 

Just drove past where the old Toys R Us used to be in Harlow, to find there's a sign saying that Smyths are opening there!
