Im not saying it doesnt look good, but money saved. Im so over undersized combining dinobots. I already bought the original and the oversized KO.

 

gold looks great and those swords and hands/feet are awesome, but other than that I actually prefer the original\'s colour schemes

 

I guess this means that we might see "Unite Warriors" style re-releases of the other POTP combiners through the Takara Selects line as well. The most likely candidates being both Abominus and Predaking (Hell they might even give Predaking his sword this time around).

 

Wasted opportunity to retool the POTP Dinobot into Brave Exkaiser Geister... Damn it Takara...

If Takara had replaced the clear plastic, I would've been tempted by this.

 

I mean, they look fine, I suppose. I just can’t see the point in doing these when SS86 Dinobots are around the corner. If they wanted to do a UW-esque revision of a POTP combiner, surely Abominus would have been more sensible, no?

 

Yeah, this is how I feel.
They're...... fine........ but SS86 Slag and Grimlock are coming, so why would I want these?

It's a screen-accurate repaint of toys that are about to have screen-accurate remakes in a matter of months anyway.

 

I\'m assuming that Grimlock will have no stickers this time.
But for the price, I wish they all had swords, and the set came with Slash as well.
I would love to get an early glimpse at the SS Dinobots now, to see if I would still want this.
Most likely the SS Dinobots will be great.  I just worry they will be overly complicated.
I don\'t want to spend 15 minutes transforming each toy.

 

Wasn't ever able to find Sludge at retail and the guns are pretty good but the clear plastic is still a problem. Also, expensive. I actually prefer the Dinobots closer to normal bots even, but come on. These molds weren't even that good.

Kind of glad it's not something exciting or weird. If it had been Cruellock and buddies, that concept bot, Cybertronian modes or something wild then it would have been way harder to resist. Hope this means something like a full Starscream Combiner down the road or even Elita to replace the sticker laden mess.

 

I still disagree with that as I think GCreations cheaped out on the chest. Toyworld and Hasbro gave us something unique that used other parts of the form and gave us something new

But. I'm with most on this as a resounding meh at this point

I already dunked a lot on Reprolabels for the Dinos 2 years ago  and these new paint apps are killing it! What with Scorponok and Arcee coming...........

Roughly 250USD........ Ya easy pass since i got the POTP with upgrades and toyhax stickers.

 

Why does everyone keep saying they’d like them to redo Abominus? They just did him and he’s still cheap to acquire. Same with the Predicons. If they redo any combiners. It should be literally any other group. Give me the Technobots and Protectobots!

Anyway, yeah, I’m not rebuying he same molds. I am interested in the SS dinobots though. I don’t care if they don’t transform into Volcanus.

 

Takara already did Volcanicus, so this feels really lame by comparison.

Given selects, it wasn't unreasonable to think it could be a repainted set of Dinobots representing a new team.

 

I think it's cuz the POTP combiners were done after the brand unification, so we only got the """Hasbro version""", and people were hoping for an improved Unite Warriors version of some of them, I guess.

 

Well, now I've got more money for the Ark.
