Did you design the toy?? I think they, the designers at Hasbro, could have done better too. The head is off, the design is oddly derivative of a 3rd party design that is in turn derivative of Hasbro's IP (stickin it to 'em I suppose) and I see you NEED to argue the point. I doubt your sardonic non-apology is intended for anything other than to continue a negativity fueled back and forth in hopes to catch any "opponent" off guard enough so what you think can be proclaimed as the right way to think/feel about the product. "He was mean too" is a poor argument to justify mean spirited behavior. What difference should it make to you what "he" thinks about the toy, If you like it, hell yeah! Get it, you'll have no competition at the counter from me. You can like a thing other people don't like.
Third part of the War for Cybertron Trilogy toyline that's going on right now. Probably a general retail release. First Part was Seige featuring Cybertron vehicles, Tetra Jets Second Part is Earthrise that is Earth vehicles like the new Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, Earth Seekers, Earth Autobots like the new Ironhide, Ratchet, Prowl Bluestreak, Smokescreen, and Hoist, Grapple, and Trailbreaker Third Part is going to be Kingdom mostly based on the Beast Wars characters like Rattrap, Cheetor, with some Earth mode characters like Warpath here.
Super disappointing, the proportions are Just a mess. the big thing I see as totally messing him up is his shoulders feeling too small and like they attach too low on his torso, and another figure without definition between shoulder area and biceps like ER Sunstreaker, which makes the arms look super weird. His legs feel short And/or torso feels long. the ninja mask face isn’t really working either with the black eyes (blue might have helped here) and white tank treads just look off. he’s also way too small (for a $20 - or $23!!! Deluxe) and way to undecorated. I was pretty excited for this guy, the initial tease looked like the bot mode would be at least as good as the old Generations version but without the goofy H-tank alt mode, but now I’m just not feeling it. tank mode is nice, but unspectacular. I can see picking up the slammer version on sale down the road.
and the truth comes out... you are defending his feelings because you too dont like the toy. not out of some ones a person and the other is a toy moral code.

I read somewhere about this. The copyrights they have are only to gobots and not the Japanese anime show. So they could use the name leader 1, but they weren't allowed to make him a jet. It's why the company that is making the updated not-gobots (car-bots) has the rights to those likenesses. It's not as clean a rights issue as most think.
Meh, not as cool or interesting as the BW characters. Tank mode leaves a lot to be desired. Looks like the first Kingdom release I will skip. Oh well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

As I said: I wanted to like the new figure. If you can look past the hollow arms and legs and unpainted white plastic, that's great, but it detracts from his overall look too much for me to ignore. Yep, not sure what they were thinking with some of the choices here. Looks like another good design compromised by budget and production issues, basically. But I'm sure there will be more than enough awesome figures in Kingdom to occupy my wallet. Can't wait to see voyager Dinobot and leader Megs!
Didn’t think I’d be into it based on these pictures, but he looks quite nice in the actual review. Looking forward to picking it up. Doubt it’ll beat the generations one for me, though, I love the way the chest transforms on it
I suppose. I tend to overlook alt mode in favor of robot mode when it comes to proper cartoon scale. If you go by real life vehicles, everyones too big or too small.
Pretty interesting take on Warpath. His tank mode looks more like a FV101 Scorpion now than an M551 Sheridan. His face in bot mode definitely looks like he has fun blowing stuff up and isn't as serious as the old Generations version. I think I'll pick this one up. Plus I like tankformers
Not bad. The turret looks slightly weird in the tank mode, but it's understandable given how it also has to work as a torso in the bot mode.
I mean, if that's the take away you get from that, okay...? I really just don't like seeing people be rude to others because they say a thing you don't like. Odd, his proportions seem weird. I’ll still buy him ASAP but I think I prefer the H Tank version. I know what it’s like to have giant feet but those are a bit much.
I lined up the top of the torsos of Sunstreaker, Warpath, and Bumblebee from the video screen caps. The proportions look great and it appears he is carbot height, might have just been an illusion of him being closer to the camera. I picked up Sheridan from FT on release but this figure will be the one I actually get to enjoy with out great fear of breaking him. Might even buy a second to keep in box.
