Looks like there some improvements to certain area like filling in the shoulder pad and more longer leg for core bot.

 

Might be the photo, but did they add a sliding joint to the hips to fill the front wheel gap in truck mode?

 

Kinda surprised to see a new KO coming out given the recent KO shutdowns in China lately. Not in a bad way of course especially since seeing the Siege Magnus mold finally being used in the KO market's good to see.

 

Ko companies should just make up a bunch of new company names. Put out a bunch of fake product images.... then let hasbro chase shadows

 

and the ko looks better of course. longer legs/hip area for the corebot. looks like my upgraded magnus but its built in. they didn't fill in all the gaps though. i know magnus ***SPOLER ALERT SPOILER DO NOT READ IF U CARE*****dies in WFC siege but i wonder if there is hope of him getting an earth mode version as the alt mode on this is not even trying to be g1ish because it is RID magnus' alt mode. if an earthmode does come out i hope that gets KO'd and improved too. lol (unless original is so good it doesn't need it!)

i think i saw a leak a while ago, but it was confirmed? nice! while i think siege magnus is probably the best magnus since G1, it has definite room for improvement. lets hope they give it a good budget and execute well! and if not, let's hope the KO guys improve it! haha

 

Well well probably see, with hascon being in September. Either that, or we get another rattrap or cheetor scenario

 

I hope after all these years and years of Optimus Prime ko's we get an improved 1:1 ko of Earthrise Optimus.
There's lota of stuff they could do to make that mold into the perfect chug G1 Optimus.

Hmm that inner thigh filer looks very clean, almost too clean to be real! A cheeky photoshop perhaps?  

 

I think not having battle damage paint all over would be improvement enough

Yeah, they actually mitigate the alt.mode large gap problem as posted by octobotimus as per photo. Not sure if it has to do with the leg extension or there's a sliding joint. But man, that is a huge improvement! Love it. I can't wait to have him.

The photo of the trio looks great.
Is it my eyes or did they also slightly modified his feet so that he can stand in a normal posture?
For nitpicking and I know they are doing 1:1, but if they're improving others parts, why did they have to paint the blue beyond his chestplate like the original? Just wish that was red. The blue eyes look dark, hopefully they are using the lighter blue to contrast the dark blue of the helmet as see on the Hasbro.

 

Give me an optional G1 Ultra Magnus head and I'm in.

It kind of looks like he has the standard blast effect pegs and 5mm ports?

 

I like the ankles (especially if they still move) being able to stand straight is a cool mod.

 

It's a 1:1 KO with longer legs, so that's to be expected.
