Man, seeing 2/3 of the Movie Wreckers on my desk... C'MON TOPSPIN!

it does seem like most places are pretty low-supply on ER and SS deluxes, so fingers crossed.

Snagged the only Studio Blitzwing at Richfield Target today.

His jet mode is a disappointment, but he’ll be displayed in robot mode, and that looks pretty nice.

Leadfoot, Mixmaster, Scrapper, Skipjack, Blitz, and Scavenger at Eagan Target.

My streak of seeing at least half the Constructicons in store at once continues.

Edina Target has one of the satellite Studio Series Soundwave. The case mates are either already bought or in the back

So since I'm a big ol' Soundwave fan, my wife heard me mention this, and since I'm working she ran to target and picked him up.

He is... really weird. Like, some parts of the trasnformation engineering are neat, some are bad, and a lot are just kinda like "why?" Like, why can his head collapse into his torso even though it's not part of the transformation (though I kind thing it looks better). Why are all his limbs just sorta everywhere? Why do things lock in really weird ways and don't lock at all in other places? Why does he look less like the satellite from ROTF than the original ROTF soundwave does?

Like, none of this makes him BAD, per se. I like him, but I've also never like... not understood why a transformer existed before? XD I have a feeling most people will get him, transform him, and just kinda go 'huh?'

On the other hand, this is also the character that turns into a lamp post and a tape deck, so I guess that's pretty par for the course.

Soundwave is one of the characters where the original ROTF figure is better than the studio series figure.

Can he assume a lampost-esque mode?

    ------
Satellite Soundwave feels like a figure HasTak assumed would just sorta trickle in to stores and we'd all forget about him because they'd be revealing Kingdom/SS86 around then.

    And then COVID happened.

Target Blaine north/109th has MPM Starscream again (I swear I've seen it come and go, so I don't think it is the same one) and a Sky Lynx, as of earlier this afternoon.

Burnsville Target has Dealer and a Scavenger as well as a Scrapper. Trio of Leadfeet also.

Eagan Target, AV off Cedar both have a pair of MPM Starscream. (I was tracking down frames.)

Having SS Blitzwing for a few days I just have to wonder why Hasbro wasn't able to get the rights to use the actual jet (F-4 Phantom II) he turns into in the movie. Starscream was able to be an F-22 for the toys.

Does the military even use the F-4's anymore for it to be a big deal? Ah, well...he's staying in robot mode when I display him as is. LOL

Must be a licensing issue with McDonnell Douglas. Although you’d think Hasbro would make sure the rights are available for a vehicle before approving movie designs.

Yeah it's weird...I mean McDonnell Douglas also produced the F-15, and they don't seem to have any problems making accurate versions of those for Transformers...maybe it has something to do with MD merging with Boeing back in the 90's? I'm assuming that Hasbro would have to obtain that license through Boeing nowadays.

Maybe movie license and toy license are different beasts?

Shakopee and Vadnais Heights Targets didn't have much interesting yesterday. Shakopee had 3 leadfoots, both had MPM Starscreams, both had w2 ER Micromasters.

Got my own big ol' POL from Chosen Prime yesterday.
    Got:
IF Optimal Optimus (TBH - I don't think anything IF has done since the DJD has been as good, but he's definitely solid).
Transform Element Wasp Tiger - I was leery about this dude since TE seems to have weird quality issues, and he does have some jank, but overall I think this guy is GREAT and has some really fun engineering... which is good, because he doesn't come with instructions? Also on mine the ab-crunch is permanently locked in place, but I don't mind because I didn't even notice it until I watched Ben's video about the figure and it doesn't affect the aesthetic negatively (EDIT: I ended up fixing it by taking it apart, doing nothing, and putting it back together and apparently that was enough XD). I'm still worried he'll break because of a couple weird stress marks, but while he's in one piece, I really like him.
Last thing I got was a bunch of Beast Boxes (crab, shark, Predator, and the big 2-box mech). These guys are great! Even if all they turn into is boxes, the engineering is always super neat and I love the designs and attention to detail. Do yourself a favor and check 'em out.

Just had to approve another delay to Airwave with Target. From Sept 2 to Sept 18, now Sept 25.

Also, for those of you who've put together SS Devy...may be worth checking if he's having this issue.
