Emgo, Jobby, B&B, Ben's, BSF, & just added Sixo to my regulars list to check out. I'm only into Masterpiece, so i pick & choose as well as compare since some reviewers do seem to be a bit more...forgiving...of a toy's faults than others at times.

So you don't like Fanstoys eh? Thier Beachcomber and Brawn are pretty much spot on for cartoon accuracy...

Reading this thread has made me realize that I'm very different from most of you guys in what I want out of a review. I don't want to watch a detailed transformation sequence (it's boring, and almost a spoiler for me -- I still like to puzzle out transformations, looking at the instructions as a last resort). I DEFINITELY am not gonna sit through somebody pointing out every bit of articulation on a figure -- talk about dull, Daniel.

I want the reviewer's opinion. I want to hear how enthusiastic or vitriolic or whatever they are about the thing after messing with it. I want to access their subjective in-hand experience of the toy -- whether I agree or not, that's just more interesting to me than whether it has bicep swivel or whatever.

So Thew and Vangelus are my ideals -- though Thew doesn't review very many relevant figures, and Vangelus doesn't put out reviews anymore... seemingly ever?

I watch Skullface like everybody else, but it's because I can fastforward to the last five minutes and get exactly what I want in the "final thoughts" section (even though he and I value vastly different things in a figure.)

I also really like the Lazy Eyebrow Reviewer's stop-motion reviews, and Prime vs. Prime is pretty decent as well, though both of them focus on mainline figures.

Please reconsider your life choices if I'm near the top of your list of reviewers. I do honestly appreciate the kind words though. I'm sorry I'm slacking as of late. I will try harder!

Oh yes forgot about lazy eyebrow! Like what he does when he adds stuff like chrome to figures that need it. Pretty cool.

Serious question: is emgo color blind?

I don't understand how he has so many subs, and his set up and picture quality are atrocious.

I’m confused. How does color blindness equate to picture quality?

I'm definitely not insulting color blindness.

In regards to emgo's picture quality, there's frequently a murky green coloring in the picture... which suggests the use of fluorescent lights and not white balancing his camera. Compare the picture of emgos reviews next to, say, peaugh or pvp or optibotimus and it's apparent

    Fair enough.

Personally I like BSF's set up best. His grey background does the best to bring out the colors of the figures (when it's not falling apart). Others that I watch seem to gravitate towards those white light boxes and the figures just get lost in the background to me.

Exccept for Thew. Thew is his own special kind of creature and god bless 'em for it! :lol

My go-to reviewers are BSF, TMan, Paik, Jobby and Emgo. It’s a mixture of commentary, humor and transformations.

Started watching the Fwoosh for non-Transformers. Funny dude.

I like the big guys too. Folks like Skullface and, especially Paik4life.
But, honestly, I enjoy watching the smaller channels more.
I've become great friends with quite a few of them .
Not the least of which are the guys in our little 4 man group of reviewers. Enewtabie, Larkin's Lair, Sardo-Numspa82 and myself.
And , of course, there's Patriot Prime Reviews and Deluxe Baldwin.
There are plenty more small time channels I watch as well.
I've only been doing reviews myself for , what will soon be, two years. But these smaller channels just seem more fun to watch. Can't explain why, really.
I guess it feels more like when you ask a buddy their opinion is.

Thanks! I agree I watch mostly the smaller stuff myself unless it's a Michael Mercy or Rodimus Primal/BSF
