This looks pretty good. If the add an extra amount of ankle pivot to allow the feet to lay flat, I'd be all in.

 

Huh, interesting. I noticed the gap filler right away, but didn't notice the leg extension, as the molding looks the same as the normal leg. But on second look, they do look stretched so they are indeed longer. Neat.

At 23.5 cm this would've been a dream come true about a year or two ago. So wanted a good looking Magnus about the size of MP Optimus.

Today, I fear he's too big for my taste since I've split my collection in a season 1 + 1.5 for MP, and everything beyond for Classics size. I'd be happy with a Magnus the size of the CW version (but better quality).

 

23.5 cm is pretty much the height of cw magnus tho

 

keeping my eye on this, I can't find a Magnus for a decent price now and I would like a Magnus thats bigger than the Siege size tbh

now if they could make an oversized Astrotrain too....

 

Yep, they didn't simply "install" the leg extension, they remolded it right in there. Good on them  

Cool, never crossed my mind that they were BMB going by each companies releases. KBB makes much more sense. The quality of BPF is similar to that Newage Bee upscale and in some ways MP10V.

 

Depends what you measure. Top of the very long shoulder stacks is actually more (almost 26 cm), while the top of his head is about 21,5 cm. I'll admit, the CW is bigger than I remember him to be (and he was way too small for what I wanted at the time (and actually a bit too big for what I want now :-D)

So you're right, this might be about the same size.

Even though I really want to wait for the Kingdom version, this looks really cool and I am tempted by it, depending on when it releases and the price.

 

That is only 3cm taller than the existing one is when it's wearing leg extenders.. so the increase in size is fairly modest.
Likely it would work a bit better if some of the other Leaders were upscaled too, but the Height increase would make him a similar bulk to a POTP leader - which I would say is a good thing.

I like that they pre-filled the gaps in his shoulder towers too.
I hope this come out soon n China being sold by someone I don't have to wait a geological age for their mail to arrive. If it's out soon I can likely get this with my acumulated ebay bucks.

 

So this is a true upsizing, and not just upgraded with leg extensions? Hope it has 5 mm ports.

Whether this is really OS or not, their last 2 releases were OS, but they went the extra mile and kept the fist holes at 5 mm. It's definitely appreciated.

 

I was hoping for more OS vehicle modes to display.

 

I'd be good with either as long as they do that.
