Further observations messing with my Earthrise figures: Some super clever engineering in some of these figures for Generations toys. Starscream's elbow assembly and the way Wheeljack hides the front windshield of his alt mode in his knees come to mind especially. Almost the CHUG equivalent of very small "masterpiece moments" lol.

I'm surprised I'm not seeing many pics of Earthrise Megatron here. What happened, people?

Packed in 2 per case and widely disliked? You have a higher chance of seeing it in stores than pics here for a while.

Nope, as soon as I get one it's replacing my Siege one as my go-to Megatron. I really like the new design.

Well, until I get Super Megatron, that is.

Didn't know these were still showing up in stores. No way was I gonna get them at the aftermarket prices, so it was a really nice surprise when I moseyed into the target toy aisle and it was just sitting right there calling to me

I'm Johnny Two Axes, why do you think they call me that?

ER OP with the Centurion pack axe and ZXB upgrade set.

The official one is well finished, glossy and transparent but you can see his hand and it arguably works best on one hand than the other. The ZXB axe looks good from both sides and has a wrist pivot that gives it a 180 degree arc, but has a rougher, duller finish.

The ZXB parts for the trailer are nice and unobtrusive. My slight gripe here is with the Roller that comes with the Centurion pack: He's painted in a blue/purple that matches none of the recent OPs nor the upcoming Netflix repaint from the looks of things.

Yay for G1 toy accuracy HasTak, but maybe provide a matching Prime to go with him?

Okay, rant over. It's just baffling how close they come to true greatness, only to fumble it!

Is the energon axe from the Centurion Drone accessory pack compatible with Siege Optimus Prine? Nice pics!

If you'll all raise your maturity levels up a notch or two... it's a very tight fit. There might be someone out there is feeling brave enough to try but I won't risk it in case it gets stuck or breaks.

Of course, I might be being overly cautious as the ZXB axe literally just broke at the point where it attaches. 3rd party fixes ain't always perfect!
